October 2024Returning for the first time in two years had a nostalgic feeling of being home. There were a few new things that were different. For dinner, the Shimanto rice pork grilled on a ceramic platter was cooked at your own pace, and the rice was brought to you whenever you wanted. I thought this was a good idea since everyone eats at a different pace. The new rice from Shimanto was also delicious. Personally, I have been a fan of Niida Rice ever since I ate it here for the first time ✨ I ate it in the morning and evening ♥️The chair in the bathroom was raised and was easy to use. Is there a screen to prevent splashes in the bathtub? It was also convenient to have a clock installed in the bathroom. I went to the changing room to see it lolIt's always kept clean, and I think the guests had good manners as well. No matter how well-cleaned it is, it can become dirty due to the user's feelings. For example, if you think about someone who doesn't mind if their hair falls into the sink after drying it with a hair dryer, then you can take action by thinking about the person who will use it next, right?Greeting people you meet in the bathroom and having a casual conversation...I think this is a scene that can only be seen at an inn with a small number of guest rooms. The smooth hot springs are not crowded and there are no day-trip hot springs, so we refreshed both body and mind in this hideaway hotel for adults! To the husband, proprietress, and employees, please take care of yourself and do your best. It was very comfortable.Sorry it's so long.thank you very much.February 2022The air conditioning in the room has been changed to a new air conditioner with humidification and ventilation. I believe that many companies are making great efforts to prevent infection and conduct business due to the prolonged coronavirus pandemic. And you will be healed by the same warm hospitality✨Homemade white sesame pudding for the dish that I haven't had in a while🍮Everything was delicious✨I'm not a big fan of chawanmushi, but I love this chawanmushi. I enjoyed the slimy hot springs while watching the shining stars at night and the slowly dawning sky in the morning.I had a good appetite in the morning and emptied the rice bowl 🍚 lolThis is an inn I want to go to every year 😌💓

It was a homely stay.I didn't feel like it was a great value for money, and there were some things I wasn't satisfied with, such as the hot springs closing earlier than the scheduled time.

This is a very comfortable inn. From the Japanese-Western style room on the top floor, you can look down on the Shimanto River beyond the greenery, and in the silence, you can hear the sounds of birds and cicadas, and see flocks of red dragonflies flying around below. What is this nostalgia? When I thought back on it, what came to mind were the sounds and sights of nature that I heard while camping when I was a child. The building is old and small, but the furniture and accessories that look like folk art are cute and tasteful. The room had a very relaxing atmosphere and I thought I would like to live in a space like this. The bath has smooth hot water, and there are plenty of scrubs and skin care products in the large bath. The open-air bath while looking up at the starry sky was the best.I had the Shimantogawa Kaiseki meal, and everything was delicious, so I ended up ordering more tempura with green seaweed. The staff kept a perfect distance from me and left me alone, which made me feel very comfortable.Although I can't say that in return, I felt that they were attentive to the equipment in the room, allowing me to reach out to any areas I needed. All hot spring inns usually have a towel rack in the room, but this was the first time I'd been to a ryokan that even had a bath towel rack. In addition to the air conditioner, there was also a fan, which was helpful after taking a hot bath.Even from the neighboring prefecture of Tokushima, it takes about 4 hours on the highway, but I would like to stay there again. Next time, I would like to try the sabachi dishes.

It is located on a hill with a panoramic view of Shimanto City. The building may be old, but it is kept well-maintained and the staff are very helpful.I stayed in the observation room and the view was nice. The rice was very plentiful and tasted good and I was very satisfied. The rice was wonderful and delicious, and the rice I ate elsewhere the next day tasted bland, so it was really good.I believe that preschoolers were not allowed to stay there.I just had a child, so I won't be able to go there until 6 years from now.It was a lodging facility that I felt like staying at again after a long time.

I used it in February last year and have booked it again for June! First of all, it's very comfortable. The deck with a panoramic view of Shimanto is good, and the hot springs are also nice.Above all, it's the food! !I've been to many ryokans this past year, but I'll never forget the food.I have nothing but wonderful memories of salt-grilled sweetfish, delicious bubble wrap rice, and so much more. The road to get there is narrow, but I was able to get there even with number 3. I hope it doesn't come before...However, there are places where you can pass each other, and if you consider the parking lot based on the number of rooms, you can stay there without any problems!

2024.03.24Because my family has food allergies, I wrote to the hotel in advance to communicate, and the response was quick and the process went smoothly. The boss spoke good English when checking in, but the room was a bit small for four people. The hot springs are very warm and comfortable to soak in. The breakfast is also delicious. The small disadvantage is that the road up the mountain is very small, so be careful when driving at night.

It is a hideaway inn. It's on the top of a mountain, so the rooms with a nice view are nice, but the sound of the warblers coming from the mountain at the back was also very atmospheric. The food for both dinner and breakfast is delicious and filling. The open-air bath is also very nice. The road to the facility is narrow, so if you are driving there, it is necessary to check for oncoming vehicles.
