Former Sago Elementary SchoolHousewives from the Sago area are caring for the children at the site of the closed school.Advance reservations are required, but lunch, cafe, and dinner seem to be available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.We didn't go for lunch, but stayed at a guesthouse, and it was really nice.There were still some traces of my elementary school, and I felt nostalgic.The reception is in the music roomThe kitchen was an arts and crafts room (^^)Overall, it was clean, neat, and comfortable.Above all, the people from Tsushima University of Earth Science, who run the program, welcomed me warmly and talked with me about various things, which made me happy.It seemed like they used furniture made by local people, such as chairs and tables, which gave it a warm feel.Access is about 30 minutes from Hitakatsu Port, and I think it would be difficult to get there without a car.However, if you have a car, I think it's a great place to stay (^^)I will go again for lunch next time!

Best location close to your usual activity base. We had a great time thanks to the well-equipped facilities and staff who were kind and considerate of their customers even though they were busy.

It is an old school converted into a hostel. Very well restored. The rooms are simple but large and very beautiful. There is a kitchen for preparing meals. The shared showers are wonderful! The welcome was very friendly, they helped us a lot. We felt very good.It's better to have a car to be able to get around. There are punctual but rare buses 😂 and it is tiring by bike because there are beautiful mountain roads all around. I recommend for people who want to visit and discover the nature of Tsushima.THANKS

A recently opened accommodation facility. There weren't many hotels in the area and I was worried about staying in a dormitory, so I made a reservation through Eiya. With excellent care and a surprisingly solid private sleep booth, I didn't have to worry about other people's snoring or alarm clocks.The cafeteria, hall, shower room, and dormitory rooms all have a pleasant smell of new wood, and have been renovated in a way that will make you forget that you are ever in a school.Above all, this is a habitat for precious wildlife. Just having a clean guesthouse within walking distance of such suffocating nature is precious. I'm a wild bird fan, but this place is right in the middle of Yamashobin Point.The staff were very friendly and talked to me often, so I had a great time even though I was traveling alone.The kitchen is spacious and has an IH stove, so it's perfect, but it's difficult to procure ingredients, so it's a good idea to plan your meals well before your stay.

I stayed overnight with dinner and breakfast included. The surrounding area is surrounded by nature and is very quiet, so although I only stayed for one night, I was able to spend a relaxing time. For meals, we ate local Tsushima cuisine made with plenty of ingredients from Sago.The staff are all very friendly and it's a place I'd definitely like to visit again.
