A great option to stay when travelling as a larger group. We were travelling with a number of families with kids and this place was perfect, as we had the entire place to ourselves we had a heap of space.Kitchen facilities were ample and allowed us to make our own meals which allowed us to keep costs down.The owner, Masa, was very accomodating and was very helpful numerous times, making our stay smooth and easy. I don’t understand some earlier reviews about the owner being the opposite, we had no problems whatsoever.It wasn’t the fanciest place, and it was fairly rustic, but if travelling with friends or a larger group, I would recommend and stay here again in a heartbeat.Thank you for a great stay Masa.

university student? There was a large group staying there and it was so noisy all night that I couldn't sleep.I can't hide my surprise at the lack of attention.

Stayed here recently with several families for a ski weekend. Masa the host was kind and helpful, he did shovel out our cars when it snowed. The linens seemed clean to us, no issues. Not fancy but a nice little Japanese mountain inn. The ski equipment is pretty old though. Overall would recommend.

Disgusting and poor service. We had to shovel our cars out of the snow despite the owner having a backhoe. Then as we were shoveling out the snow the owner told us not to shovel snow into the street. There was no other place to put the snow. But that wasn’t the worst of it. When the cleaners came to straighten up after we were getting ready to leave the sheets were not changed. That is DISGUSTING. I can only imagine how long those sheets get used before they are ever changed. Ski equipment rental was subpar. Overall, the owner puts little to no effort into managing the place. That’s a shame because it has the potential to be a great place.
