Used on the second day of motorcycle touring during the holidays in September 2024. Traveled from Tatsukushi to Kayajima and stayed at Hotel Matsuya (no meals).Dinner can be enjoyed at the attached Restaurant LaLaport. At first glance, it looks like a family restaurant, but the menu is full of gourmet food inspired by local produce. There was also a fair amount of volume. By the way, the last order is 8:30 pm, so please come early.The hotel itself is an average business hotel, but the lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly.It was raining that day, so I was able to park my bike under the roof in front of the entrance as I was touring solo. I don't think it's a good idea to go with a large group. I think it was OK to park in front of the entrance because there was only one motorcycle. Basically, it is open-air parking without a roof.The rooms are clean and of average size. Well, it's a single room where I stay alone, so I guess it's something like this. If you need any amenities, you can bring them yourself from among the amenities available next to the front desk. The vending machines inside the building also had juice, canned beer, and cup ramen. There was a washing machine and dryer at the back of the hotel, but please be aware that there are only a few.Convenience stores, supermarkets, gas stations, etc. are located near Sukumo Station or at the corner of a major intersection, but it's a bit far to walk. I think it would be better to buy snacks and favorite drinks in advance. If you are driving, the country roads are empty, so you can easily get there.I think it's a good accommodation with good customer service and good cost performance.

Visited to kill the Sukumo LineIt seems like it's a bit far to walk from the station, but I can't find any ryokan in front of the station in Sukumo, so it can't be helped since everything is a similar distance.The room is a standard business hotel with no problems and a passing grade level.When I turned on the TV, a panoramic photo of the hotel was displayed.At first glance, this place is close to the coast, so is the Nankai Trough okay? I was worried, but when I looked closely, I was relieved to see that the roof of the hotel was surrounded by a fence, and that the roof had been prepared as an evacuation center in case of an emergency.Please note that accommodation rates are subject to change, so there are high and low days.It's a big advantage to have a large supermarket nearby, but the contents are Aeon Max Valu class, so don't expect too much.

The price is cheap and I think it's fine for just sleeping, but the smell of sewage from the drain was so strong that I only took a quick bath. The smell in the guest room is also a bit unique, so I thought it would be best to stay away if you are sensitive to odors.

Stayed here during GW Bike Touring.In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of ridiculously expensive hotels that seem to be paying close attention to their customers' feet, but I was lucky to be able to stay here at a reasonable price.There is a restaurant attached, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal.LaLaport set meals are good value and good value.You can also rent bicycles, so you can go to the supermarket to buy things.I'm glad there are lots of hangers in the room.There is no parking space for bicycles, so you will have to park in the open air just like cars.

This was my first time using this hotel because the hotel I usually use was fully booked.Although the parking lot was a bit difficult to use, other than that, there were no major complaints and the location was convenient as there were many shops around. There is also a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which was also convenient.

I stayed here on the way back from a drive to Kashiwajima.The building is old, reminiscent of the Showa era, but it gives the impression that it has been well-maintained. I had a very good impression of the staff, so if I have a chance to travel to Shikoku, I would like to stay there again.What is particularly noteworthy about this hotel is the restaurant ``LaLaport'' that is attached to the building.I ordered a set meal of seared bonito, and it not only included the usual combination of seared bonito, rice, and miso soup, but also shrimp, shellfish, and steamed egg custard, and it was the same price as a regular set meal. The service provided by the waiters is also very attentive.It seems that you can use the restaurant only, so it is recommended that you just stop by for a meal.

The building is old (lol)They are separated within the building and the new building is beautiful ✨️The main building has old equipment and small units (lol)There are only two types of breakfast: Japanese and Western, but they can vary things up a bit, such as raw eggs or fried eggs.I am grateful that I can use the washing machine for free.There is only one dryer, so if you are lucky you can use it🎵

At dinner, I was traveling alone, so when I tried to sit in a two-seater table, I was told that I couldn't sit there. Seats for 6 people at a family restaurant during breakfast. I guess that's the reason for the set menu. There are a lot of construction workers staying there, so we decided to stagger meal times. The staff are selfish, but I don't hate them.

The inside of the hotel is clean and the rooms are also nice. The attached restaurant had a large menu and was delicious. Above all, the woman at the front desk and the woman in charge of the restaurant's hall were very responsive. I would like to use it again.
