A rural guesthouse located in Tsutsu Village, on the southernmost outskirts of Tsushima Island, where I wanted to escape from the tiring work life.I am leaving a review because I think there are people like us who would like to experience a very rural bed and breakfast.Due to the location, I think you can only get there by rental car.If you start from Hitakatsu, it takes about 3 hours to get to Izuhara, and you have to cross the mountain for about 40 minutes to get to the remote area. (Still, it is a village, so people still live there to some extent). There are only a few vending machines in the village and a few corner stores that only sell snacks, cigarettes, and drinks, so it's a good idea to do some shopping. It's a quiet rural port town, so it's a good town for a quiet walk. To put it bluntly, there is nothing to see.Due to the location, the 2-day, 1-night itinerary is a bit tight, so it would be better to stay for 2 nights. Since we stayed for one night, the schedule was a little tight and there were some disappointments. The owner's grandfather turns 85 years old this year, and his grandmother turns 83 years old.Even though they are both older, they both corrected me and treated me kindly.I think it will remain as a very good memory.I don't speak Korean at all, and my grandfather can speak very little English.Even though we didn't know any Japanese, we had a lot of fun just talking with each other and the nuances, and it felt like we were at our grandparents' house.I am leaving this review because I thought I would be very happy if many of my compatriots could visit and chat with me and people-watch.In my heart, I would like to give it a perfect score, but out of conscience, I am leaving a review with a 4 because of the location.Drive south slowly while appreciating foreign nature with a driving is fun mindset. There are places to rest along the way and some good viewpoints. The meal is prepared to fill your stomach, so I recommend going with an empty stomach.I intend to visit again, and although it is not my part, I hope that if you visit, you will follow basic etiquette and have a good time.

I've been to Tsushima several times, but I always stayed at hotels, but this time I wanted to feel the unique Japanese sensibility, so I made a reservation. As expected, it was the best as written in the review. The friendly owner and his wife welcomed us in a traditional house. I was satisfied with everything, including food and sleep.I hope the elderly couple is always healthy.

Does your wife, who likes to be hospitable, cook so many dishes for this accommodation fee? Many customers are surprised. In front of the inn is a fishing port. Freshly caught fish and delicious home-cooked side dishes will be on your table. The inn has an orchard, so the experience menu includes fruit harvesting such as pears, figs, and kiwis (July to November), a Japanese kimono dressing experience, and a flower arrangement experience with the wife of a Shin-Ikenobo flower arrangement professor who holds a certificate. We also offer a variety of inexpensive programs, including local cuisine experiences. It is a popular private lodging in Tsushima, where word of mouth has spread its good qualities and customers come from Kanto, Kansai, and even overseas. The inn is a private house in the countryside, with a homely atmosphere that makes you feel like you're at your grandparents' house. The elaborately designed Japanese-style alcove is a must-see!The area is surrounded by agricultural and fishing villages and is rich in nature.

My friend and I stayed in a private lodging for the first time! Tsushima is much bigger than I imagined, and by the time I took some sickness medicine on the way through the mountains, it was already night. The house was very clean and spacious, and the futons were fluffy. I wish I could have stayed longer. My mother and father were very kind and warm-hearted, and I received a lot of energy from them. There was so much food that I couldn't even finish it all, so next time I would like to expand my stomach and serve you again. Please let me visit you during fruit picking season ^_^

This is a private lodging (=a type of inn where you can stay at home). We also have a full range of experience menus for guests to enjoy! The people at the hostel talked to me a lot, so I was able to learn a lot about Tsushima. There is no parking lot in front of the inn, so please check in advance! The road from Izuhara to Mametsu was also a bit high in altitude and had a nice view.

This is the best and most heartfelt hospitality! The room is a finely designed Japanese style room. The food was really delicious, and the conversation with the couple at the hostel was fun, and I got a lot of energy and smiles. We were guided to the lighthouse at Mametsuzaki. (I might not have been able to get there if I hadn't been guided.)
