This is a recommended campsite in Kansai. It is easily accessible from both Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya. There are three types of compartment auto sites. There are private sites, open sites, and waterside sites, and the waterside site is recommended in the summer. There are free sites, but they are far from the center house, and the prices are not much cheaper than the lot sites, so if you are a family, we recommend the lot sites.○Good points about waterside sites•A large natural river flows in front of you, and an artificial stream flows in the back, giving you a nice view of the open landscape.•There are two rows of sights, so the front row on the river side may be more satisfying.•Every site has shade.•The official website states that the area is 100㎡, but some are as large as 120㎡. You can also go to 2 rooms + tarp.•The open and private sites have a large number of sites and can be noisy when fully booked, but the waterside sites are small and have a nice atmosphere.•Open fires are allowed only at waterside sites. Each site has a stone oven. Clean up the ashes yourself and place them in the designated area. A dustpan, shovel, and broom are also available at the ash dump.○Good points throughout the campsite•The toilets and kitchen area are well-cleaned. It feels clean.•Free shower. I also appreciate that it's open 24 hours a day. If I were to be greedy, I would like a slatted roof for the changing area in the shower room!•There are plenty of shops.•In terms of area, open sites are the largest. Isn't it about 10 x 20 in a wide area? The farther you get from the center house, the wider it becomes and turns into a lawn. There is a dirt site near the center house. The open site has a parking space in the path outside the site, so it can be used widely.•The private site is similar to the waterside site, but is not near a river. The site is earthen and separated by a fence. It's only a few minutes walk from the open site and private site to the river, so it's not far.•Log houses, cottages, etc. are also available in a wide variety of variations.•There is a public park within walking distance, where you can play with playground equipment. There are slides and Tarzan ropes. It's quite far from the waterside site as it's on the opposite side beyond the center house. It's a park separated from the private site by a single fence, so it's close.•Shaved ice and ice cream are available for sale.•Cycling rental available for 500 yen per hour.•It is far away from the general road, so you can spend a quiet time without any noise from running.•There are two hot springs within a 10-minute drive. Ofuro Cafe Ageki Onsen and Rokugoku Onsen Hydrangea Hot Spring. Discount tickets can be purchased at the campsite front desk only at Rokishi Onsen. By the way, there is a really delicious bakery across the street from the bath cafe, so I highly recommend it.In the summer, there is a waterside site, and in other seasons, the open site is spacious and has a beautiful lawn. A private site is a general site that is just what you need. Overall, this is a campsite that I can recommend!
