We had a fantastic family vacation at the Villa. The kids absolutely loved having their own private pool, and we appreciated the spacious layout of the villa. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together as a family. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging everything from transportation to in-villa massages. Highly recommend for families looking for a memorable stay in Ubud.

Want to wake up with a change of scenery close to nature? This 150 years old villa is just right for you! Its location is in rural Ubud, not very near to amenities but your stay will be close to nature, undisturbed and tranquil. …

Best way to describe this villa is vintage in the most beautiful Balinese way. The villa decor displayed the essence of Balinese home life. Privacy and quietness was top tier for this villa. When we left and arrived daily service members were there to see us go and greet us as we came back. Always with a smile and a bow. There was tea and a small snack served nightly after our return. Any type of service that was not on the menu or the list of services they offered they would get for us anyways. For example on our late arrival we requested two massage therapist to be there at 10 pm at night after our plane travels and they obliged. The food menu was perfect for this villa and if you get the chance to get the floating breakfast do it. It is an amazing experience. I highly recommend this Villa if you want to stay away from the main tourist area and experience Bali the way it was meant to be.

Though located a little outside Ubud, it is a fabulous place to experience if you love heritage, artefacts and culture. Every piece of item in the room symbolises the rich heritage of what Bali is all about.  …

This review is mostly directed to 5 star hotel travelers. My experience there was the worst hotel experience I have ever gone through, in my whole life of traveling. Here is why:- the rooms were very dirty and stained (especially the bed sheets).- the villa is full of all sorts or bugs and geckos and such. This is inside the rooms and villa mind you, not the outside.- the owners don’t accept any kind of criticism. They practically throw us out of the villa in the rain and told us that they will give us our money back (which they eventually did). However, we had to find our own driver and to carry our own heavy luggage bags. As the owner said “this not my problem”.- the reception closes at night. You will get no help during that time.- you need to order your meals 3 hours in advance since they don’t stock any food and need to get the ingredients for your order every single time you make an order.- there are no restaurants on site.- there are no safety measures. The front door is open during the night and no one is available in the so called reception. In short, please be aware. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my enemies (if I had any).Safe travels everyone.

We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful Javanese traditional house in the middle of nice and peaceful paddy field in Ubud. The two bedrooms are very nice each with en-suite private bath and shower.  …

very nice retreat villa house. they only have two compounds. the owner loves antique and it reflect on their interior. i think it would be better if they add AC in the living room, give a proper kitchen instead of all substandard corrosive one, give a high quality to sanitary changed with the new and hygiene one instead of consistently installed the second hand used closet. use good high quality amenities instead of cheap one cause you offer the premium price, pay attention on details that will bring memorable impression. use a good linen and white towel instead of other color with an unnecessary overpowering fragrance. the food need to be improved. staff are wonderful and helpful. nice place to retreat in the remote ubud.
