Really enjoyed my stay here in early September. The B&B is managed by a couple and it is very well done, from service to their facilities. Check-in was easy. There was parking right outside. The rooms are upstairs so you'll have to manage your baggage (of course, the owner is happy to help should you need it). Breakfast was divine. They cook it themselves and we had delicious tomatoes which were grown themselves. You also get to enjoy your breakfast with a beautiful view. I also enjoyed the insects and animals that were hanging outside the window. And not forgetting the window to the galaxy in the bathroom is a great add-on - a nice touch for the meditative state we inevitably get into while we're there (before we had handphones). Overall, a very delightful stay.

Beautiful place run by a super couple who do everything they can to ensure that their guests have a good time.We had a spacious and very clean room with a beautiful starry sky....We stayed here for 3 nights and had a different delicious breakfast each time.Very quiet area, only fields and farmers.There are some shops and restaurants within an 8-minute drive.We stayed here as a base for walks in the immediate area (Mt Tokachi, Biei and Furano), a maximum 30-minute drive.RECOMMENDED!!

I was lucky to have a yoga class.The owner and his wife were very gentlemanly and respected a sense of distance.However, he is a very good communicator, and when we talk, I can naturally tell that he likes me.A wonderful room full of taste. It was very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in August (summer) in the junior suite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was really good and it was quiet and peaceful. Kanji and Marilyn were lovely hosts who helped us with our luggage and gave us recommendations on nearby attractions.The B&B is located conveniently about 10 minutes drive away from central Furano, where there are restaurants and convenience stores. It is also a quick 8 mins drive to Farm Tomita, and ~30 mins from Biei, which is perfect for a summer stay to explore the flower fields.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay while exploring Furano, and we are looking forward to coming back!

What we liked about this B&B: it was conveniently located, not far from the main places of interest, which was perfect since we traveled by car. Queries via email were promptly addressed, and the environment was both picturesque and quiet. The hearty farm-to-table meals they prepared were also a highlight.Most of the time, we were out exploring, but it was always a pleasure to return to a very clean and comfortable bed after a long day. The house rules didn’t bother us at all, except for the one about sorting rubbish, which is mandatory in Furano, but the owners were understanding.As for the areas for improvement, the owners have already taken steps to address them, for e.g. they helped with carrying our luggage up the staircase, and we could drive the car nearer to the main entrance for loading and unloading of luggage. We didn’t expect a Bed & Breakfast to offer the same amenities as a 3-star hotel, and we’re perfectly okay with that.

Very cute b&b in a great location with gorgeous views of the mountains and fields. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and different each day (we stayed 4 nights). Marilyn and Kanji were lovely hosts.

A very lovely place to stay with great views of the neighbouring farmlands. Our room has the swing and we loved the relaxing view from the window. Kanji and Marilyn are very accommodating, friendly and works hard to keep the B&B in tip-top shape. They even informed us of the local festival with fireworks happening on one of the days of our stay and how to get there. We also enjoyed fresh and tasty breakfast daily. Oh and we also happened to meet Yuki, their snowy white, super cute cat. Overall, we had a very peaceful and lovely stay here.

Similar to some other reviewers, we found the owners to be neither hospitable nor warm. The entire check-in process felt very transactional. It was as if we were intruding on someone’s home, constantly worried about our kids making too much noise and facing repercussions, despite the fact that it was a paid stay and it was not an economical option. Unfortunately, I chose this place without reading the reviews. Thankfully, it was only a one-night stay.The bedroom lacked blackout curtains and didn’t have a wardrobe, which made our stay less convenient. Thankfully, we only brought a small piece of luggage up to the room.The simple breakfast and the view from the dining room was good.Overall, this place is definitely not value for money.

This time I went to Furano for skiing and stayed for 5 days. I highly recommend this B&B.The owner is very friendly and attentive to maintaining the quality of accommodation for all guests. This time I stayed in four different places in Hokkaido. If you are polite and hate meeting rude guests who ruin your rest, this hotel is definitely Is your first choice!In order to receive guests, many hotels or B&Bs in Japan often allow some guests to ruin the accommodation experience of others, but this B&B will not let that happen.We were very happy to stay here for five days. We were very satisfied with the quality of the accommodation. We enjoyed delicious breakfast every day. All the dishes were prepared freshly by the owner with great care that day. They put a lot of effort into running the B&B. The male owner Very humorous, the hostess is lovely and caring!If I have the opportunity to visit Furano again in a different season, I will definitely choose this B&B again.

The owners were very efficient and organised. They kept the place really neat and clean. Their response to emails were always prompt.There is no elevator, but the owners will help u get your luggage to your room.The location is in the middle of kamifurano and furano City. It's good if u plan to visit both areas. But u will need a car. It's about a 10-minute drive to furano and about 30 minutes to kamifurano.This place and its owners lack the warm and cozy vibe. The owners follow a strict timetable. It's more suitable for travelers who are just looking for a place to sleep. Touch and go kind of place.I always like staying in local family owned accommodation cos of the friendly and warm hospitality. Usually, the owners would try communicating even if they couldn't speak english. So, for me, I would not visit B&B again.There is a cutting fee of 500yen if u need a knife to cut a cake or fruits such as melon. So get your food cut at the shop if you can. Otherwise, just pay them to cut for u.The dining area has a nice fireplace, but the area is only open during meal time. It doesn't look like u can use the space to hang out as the chairs will all be put up onto the tables after mealtime. Also, u r not allowed to eat outside food and drinks at the dining area, and the kitchen will be close after mealtime. So the only place u can drink and chat would be back in your room. I didn't clarify with the owners about the usage of the dining area as they always seem very busy. Every time i approached them, i always felt that I am disturbing and interrupting their work.

I will never use it again.I felt very scared.If I had read the reviews from those who were not satisfied, I would not have chosen this accommodation.I have nothing but regrets.You should have noticed this possibility because of the large number of critical comments.When I asked about it, the reviews were not good.

We stayed at the 2nd floor suite. The room was nice but the male owner's service attitude has room for improvement. When we asked for a knife to cut the melon he said in a passive aggressive tone that no hotel or Airbnb would lend a knife and some story on his bad experience with other customers requesting a knife. When I clarified I wanted the knife to cut a melon, he said they could cut for some extra fees. It is alright that fruit cutting is chargeable, just the tone and word choice did not let us feel welcome. We experienced much better customer service at other Japanese hotels and Airbnbs.Other than customer service that can be improved, the place is nice.

The owner man was not friendly, but his wife was much better. His 眉をひそめる face and manner was not acceptable. Also the smel of the gas for boiling water system. The nearest car park is for the owner's, not guest. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and we had to carry our luggage ourselves via rocky path while the owner couple stayed in their home, not allowed us to park at the front door. 😓☹️

THE OWNER WAS RUDE TO US. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. We stayed at this place during our Hokkaido trip in October 2023. We didn’t have a good experience staying here. First, the place doesn’t have an elevator so keep in mind that you do have to carry your luggages upstairs which was very inconvenient for us because we were traveling as a family with a lot of luggages. Second, there was a strong unpleasant gas smell in our room. When we asked the owner, we were told that it was the smell from the boiler that was right below our room. The smell was present every time someone used warm water which was extremely unpleasant and made it a bit difficult to breathe. Lastly and most importantly, THE MALE OWNER WAS RUDE TO US. When I was carrying our luggages to the car (also keep in mind that the parking lot is very rocky, so you can’t really drag your suitcase), I left the entrance door open as I was using both hands to carry the luggages. However, when I went back in again to pickup the last luggage, instead of asking nicely, the owner said to me in a very rude and aggressive tone “Can you close the door”. He also shook his head and said something that sounded like cursing when I was standing in front of him. I found his behavior unacceptable, especially when I was his guest. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay here at all.

Very cosy and modern B&B just off the Furano city centre. It’s run by a couple - Marilyn speaks English and Chinese while Kanji speaks English and Japanese so they’re extremely multilingual! The room and the toilet were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 8.15am every morning and we greatly enjoyed our breakfast every morning in their dining area. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Lovely little place to stay. Feels very cozy and intimate, with only four rooms. The dining room is beautiful, with amazing views. Rooms are tidy and well kept. Friendly couple running the place, and they were very helpful with suggestions on where to eat! The location needs you to have a car, but there are many options for food within a 15min drive.

The location of the B&B is outside of Furano town, about 11 mins from Farm Tomita by car. The interior is well decorated, new and clean. Our king room is not too small, the ensuite bathroom is very nice. Breakfast is good. Owners are very polite. Highly recommended.
