The manager is very calm and kind.I came to Hokkaido from Kanto and stayed here for 2 days and it was very comfortable. There are a lot of insects and the noise of the train is a bit bothersome, but if you're a big-hearted person, it won't be a problem. If you are a nervous person, you might want to avoid it (don't those people go camping?)

60 years ago, it was Kasuga Elementary School. There were 52 students in the school, and there were two teachers in addition to the principal. I went to junior high school in Asahikawa City by train. There was no gymnasium, so we took down the walls of the classrooms, built a temporary stage, and held school plays. The students are children of railroad workers and settlers. The old school building has been demolished, and it feels lonely.I remember being scared of the dark roads at night due to the dense pine trees in the snow protection forest.

You can camp for free. But it's a little noisy because it's close to the railroad tracks. There are also a lot of insects
