The highlands are cool and comfortable even in the extreme heat. But above all, the owners and their husbands have a pleasant personality. Of course the food was delicious too.

The atmosphere of the pension is good. Enjoy a French cuisine course to your heart's content. This is also delicious.There was a coffee maker available at all times, which personally made me very happy.The bath is a unit bath, but there is a hot spring just a short drive away, so as long as you have legs, there is no problem.

The food is very delicious. The owner couple are very friendly and it is a comfortable inn. The photo shows maple nut ice cream and nut tart, lobster bisque, black tea roasted duck (prosciutto-style), domestic beef fillet steak, and the sunset from Kurumayama seen from the dining room. There are other dishes as well, but I failed to take any photos.Added on March 22, 2019Visited for the first time in a year. I will upload photos of the dinner menu and each dish. The first thing that comes out is a salad with lots of vegetables. Actually, I don't like tomatoes, but now I can eat tomatoes in this salad. Today's pick is grilled salmon pie! The flaky pie and salmon were exquisitely delicious. I ate the roasted Shinshu Taro pork with scallops and balsamic paste. This is also excellent! It was a very satisfying dinner. Eating delicious food makes me feel happy...I thought so again.By the way, the woman holding the menu is Mr. Hase, the gentleman who cooks the food. He said he learned most of the techniques on his own.Added on March 23, 2019This is the dinner menu for the second night. It would be nice if the photos were posted in the order they were registered, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The texture of the roasted black tea duck is like eating raw ham. Herb-grilled swordfish had just the right amount of salt and made me want to eat rice. The meat stewed in red wine was so tender that it fell apart in the mouth and was delicious.The room is very clean. Equipment provided includes a hair dryer, large towels, small towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc. There is central heating. If you want to make it even warmer, you can use a fan heater.Visited in December 2019 for the first time in 9 months. This time I uploaded photos of garlic conchille and dessert for breakfast and dinner. The baked salmon pie was still exquisite.Visited in March 2020 for the first time in 3 months. This was my first time trying the lobster soup, tuna prosciutto, and grouper grilled with lemon and herbs. All were delicious.Visited again in mid-March 2020. This time, for the first time, I ordered Japanese breakfast. It was very delicious. In addition to the photo, there was rice and miso soup with lots of toppings.Visited again in December 2023. Add photos etc.

I visited you in August just after Obon.As per the reviews, all the menu items were beautiful and delicious. The bread for breakfast is fluffy.The dining room is decorated with various souvenirs from around the world, giving it an interesting and nostalgic feel. A cheerful wife and a kind husband welcomed us. I missed taking pictures of the handwritten menu written on the blackboard, but I will post photos of dinner and breakfast.It's a shame that the rooms only have unit baths, but that's what old ski hotels used to be like. Even on this extremely hot day across the country, I felt comfortable just by opening the windows.3 minutes by car (10 minutes walk) to Kurumayama Kogen lift platformThe lifts are expensive, but you can get a 10% discount ticket at the hotel. It was like a trekking course in Switzerland! I also recommend this place.

I worked with you several years ago. This is not a ``hotel that includes meals'' that you can find anywhere.The food was so delicious that it could be described as a ``restaurant where you can stay overnight''.

The wife is a chef and the husband is a modest gentleman. Customer service is also polite.The room is also neatly arranged.The food is delicious, and the atmosphere of the dining room and the lighting during dinner are indescribably wonderful. When everyone has arrived, the chef will introduce the menu written on the board.I wouldn't complain if the bathroom wasn't a unit bath, but I guess it can't be helped.
