This is Takeda Machi Hotel, which I have been looking forward to staying at for a while! The rooms are stylish, with artwork on display, and carefully designed interiors that make you feel relaxed and comfortable! I was given a welcome drink of matcha, and my partner and I enjoyed cooking and eating Bungo pork and local vegetables in a Staub pot. It added seasoning to the meat and it was very delicious! The vegetables also had a sweet taste. The hot sandwiches and soup that I baked myself for breakfast were delicious, and it was fun to grind beans and make coffee. It was a stay where I enjoyed a lifestyle that cannot be experienced at ordinary hotels or inns. I’m glad I went!

The inn was located on the second floor of a building located in the center of the city where you can experience the good old days of Takeda.I was worried about food, but they introduced me to a nearby pub. This is a highly recommended inn!

My family and I stayed at the starting point for climbing Mt. Aso.``Takeda Machi Hotel'' is located in a corner of a building in the charming town of Takeda, where the passage of time has continued since ancient times and the townscape has been cherished for a long time. When you open the door, you will see a wonderful inn with a stylish space! There is also a supermarket and a side dish store nearby (the owner told me about it!), and the inn also has a rice cooker so I can cook rice, which was very helpful! If I have a chance to visit Takeda again, I would definitely like to stay there! I also want to eat the Italian restaurant on the first floor, which was closed this time.

It was a beautiful place, including the surrounding cityscape. The room is also very stylish. However, it is cold in winter, so we recommend warming up your room early.

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights 😊Of course it's great for a single person like me, but it's also spacious enough for families and couples! There was a kitchen and a sofa, so I canceled my sightseeing trip and spent two days in the hotel room, but it was comfortable and I was able to relax.I was able to talk with the owners at the check-in area, and they were really nice people, and I could feel their personality and commitment throughout the room! This is a wonderful hotel that is perfect for a relaxing stay in Takeda ☺️I would like to visit you again💖

It was a very convenient location in the city. The small inn, which fits well into the town of Takeda, has been renovated very stylishly and was a comfortable stay. We stayed with 3 people, and we were able to arrange additional futons, so we were able to have a good rest.Tajimaya also served delicious sweets, and everyone was very excited. In terms of feedback, I was disappointed that the kitchen sponge did not seem clean enough.Since there are dishes, I think it would be better to have dish towels for the dishes. From now on, I don't think it's possible due to space constraints, but why isn't there a sink?I also ordered breakfast, but I didn't think I would have to cook it myself, so this was a lack of awareness on my part. When I looked at the website later, I saw a photo that looked like that, so I might have been able to predict it.I also like the town of Takeda, so I'm looking forward to staying with you next time.

I made a reservation for accommodation through Jalan.During the Golden Week, Oita Prefecture was completely wiped out and I was in a lot of trouble. After confirming my reservation and finally finding a place to stay, I was relieved that I had booked my return ferry and had all my travel plans set in stone. After a while, I received an email from the hotel saying that my reservation had been canceled due to another reservation.

3 stars may be tough, but how many times? That's why I will give it 3 stars.First of all, I was told that I would arrive between 5pm and 6pm, but when I arrived at 5pm, there was no one there, so I thought I was a little early, so I went back to the car, waited about 15 minutes, and then went back to the hotel. . There was no one there at that time, so I waited in my car again until 5:30 pm, feeling confused. There was no one at the inn at 5:30pm, so I called, wondering if it was a scam. It seemed like the owner would be there soon. In the end, the check-in location was completely different. Looks like I'll have to go to a cafe nearby. It would have been nice if they could have guided me through the information email that was sent. . . You may think that you should have called from the beginning, but since there was nothing written in the information email or on the door of the hotel, you might want to reconsider. The room was clean and had a Japanese/Western feel. However, even with the air conditioner on, the bedroom and living room were barely warm, so we had to use blankets. During the night, the light from the outside lights illuminated the room, so I woke up countless times and couldn't get much sleep. I don't know if it was from the New Year holidays or during the year, but I cannot recommend it to people with epilepsy.Having Japanese sweets in the room was a plus. I got the impression that they wanted to take care of their customers.

This was my first trip with my 0-year-old child, so I was looking for a place to rent out a whole house so that I wouldn't cause any inconvenience to the people around me because he was still crying at night, and I came across this inn.I have arrived. My honest impression is, ``It's a mysterious inn where the extraordinary and the ordinary coexist.'' The townscape of Takeda and the retro keyhole on the inn's entrance door will make you feel like you've traveled back in time to the Showa era, while the calm atmosphere inside will make you feel like you're at home. Also, the Japanese sweets, hot sandwiches, and soup for breakfast were all very delicious and impressive. Not having a TV is a charm, but it's an ant when it comes to experiencing something out of the ordinary. If I may be selfish, I thought it would have been helpful if there was a microwave (as we were staying during the period when a big cold wave was coming). If I have another chance, I would definitely like to stay there again when the weather is nice and take a walk around the area.thank you very much!
