A beautiful and cosy place run by the kindest and warmest couple. The view is beautiful and the room is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Even if you aren't used to futons, trust me this one is superbly comfy. I would also highly recommend breakfast (1,000 yen) which was wholesome and really yummy.Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short because typhoon Shanshan brought in a relentless downpour, but the inn was very structurally safe and I cannot emphasise how kind and reassuring they were towards us. It's hard to put into words how accommodating they were, patiently communicating with us over google translate to address any concerns and checking in on how we were doing even at night.I highly recommend a stay here and really hope to come back one day!

Magnificent place and… which (unlike most accommodation) is even better than in its photos!Very comfortable traditional room, magnificent view of nature,...even the futons for uninitiated people like us seemed pleasant to us.The traditional breakfast is excellent and authentic in a peaceful and warm atmosphere created by the hosts.THANKS ! It was perfect ☺️

It was the best! The owner and his wife are very kind, the breakfast is delicious, the view is amazing, and the cat is so friendly and cute, I'll definitely come back!However, even though it's Utaki, it's usually hot in the summer...On a 37 degree day in central Tokyo, it's 33 degrees, but it's still hot, so when it gets a little cooler, I'd like to open the windows in my room and relax while listening to the sound of the river.Breakfast is available for 1000 yen and starts at 8am.I was full from the Japanese breakfast. It was really delicious. You can eat on the terrace. The cat climbed onto the table, but he was very clever and didn't try to get the food.There seem to be a lot of foreign customers these days, and the owner communicates with them using a translation app.There are delicious soba restaurants and local Chinese restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel owner and his wife welcomed us warmly. Although there was a language barrier, we worked hard to overcome it!The mix of traditional and modern rooms not only made our stay comfortable, but also recharged our souls. Lying on the tatami and falling asleep listening to the sound of the stream was a real pleasure!The next morning I saw the beautiful wild stream. When I opened the door, I was attracted by the aroma of breakfast. It was such a blessing in life to enjoy such a delicious Japanese breakfast!I am very grateful to the boss for his efforts and enthusiasm, bringing wonderful experiences and memories to every passenger. A wonderful authentic Japanese ryokan on the banks of a mountain river with magnificent views of the river and mountains 🤩. You will be provided with a separate room with futons and kotatsu, as well as your own toilet room with a modern Japanese toilet and a bathtub with heated water. In the cold season, this is so necessary. The water from the tap is mountainous, incredibly soft and tasty! There is also a separate kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, sink and clothes dryer.Wi-Fi is excellent, good quality. Air conditioning, TV in the room. The hosts, a wonderful, friendly couple, have made sure that you have a very comfortable stay and enjoy the local nature. We were offered Breakfast for 1000 yen. Within walking distance there are shops and many cafes where you can have a snack and drink coffee, as well as local plum wine and sake.The hosts are very helpful and polite people, they will ask about your preferences in food, stay and will try to make your stay unforgettable.Many thanks from the Russian guests. Beautiful place! Amazing view from the room to the river, mountains and village. Dear hosts, very polite. Breakfast is hearty and delicious.The autumn rooms themselves are authentic, in Japanese style, which gives a special atmosphere. Very clean, not a speck of dust anywhere.It’s not far from the house itself to Mount Mitake; restaurants and a shop are within walking distance.And there were also two very cute, affectionate cats.

A gem in the mountains, directly above a wonderful river where locals train with kayaks, it's so close it's almost too loud.The traditional room with tatami and a kotatsu, providing a small kitchen and a bathroom both privates. To reach the room you'll have to do 2 ramps of steep stairs so don't bring big luggages.Huge breakfast recommended, the friendly couple managing it have 2 chunky cat and are plants lovers, wonderful atmosphere I wish I've stayed more than 1 night.You can trek downstairs along the river and will have a wonderful sight in the morning to the mountains.Pictures in the house have qr codes to hear the sound of the bird, wonderful idea.
