I used it for sightseeing in Nagatoro and Chichibu. I used a room with an open-air bath, and the room was very clean, the view was beautiful, and the sound of the murmuring stream was soothing (*´-`) The kaiseki meal was also very delicious and I was very satisfied! I would also like to thank the staff for their kind and courteous treatment. I'm glad I was able to stay with my loved ones. thank you very much!

Although the building is old, it was very well maintained and clean. All the employees were very kind and responded to our small requests with great care. The bath was also very nice. The food was also very delicious and satisfying. Also, I would like to take care of you when I have a chance 😊

We took a short trip to Chichibu, apparently the place where Japan's first coins were made. Although it is a historical inn, the inside of the inn is very clean, probably because it has been renovated. The hot spring also has an open-air bath, and the genders change depending on the time, so you can enjoy it twice. The river flows right below and the scenery is beautiful. The meals are very delicious and plentiful, with a lot of locally produced ingredients. I also had miso potatoes. The staff were very kind and we had a great time.

◾️Good pointsDrink service at check-inThe sweets and tea provided in the room are delicious.Charger available in the roomThe staff was very polite and helpful. The food was served in a private room, and it was very delicious (I feel like the portions were a bit large, so be careful not to eat too much).◾️Points that caught my attentionThere were white stones scattered near the windows, but they were dirty and scattered all over the roof, and I felt like they were making the landscape look worse. The elevator smelled musty.(This was quite tough...)The groove on the door of the private bath was darkened as if it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The shower in the private bath is a miracle shower, but perhaps because it has been used for many years, water scale has gotten into it, and I was a little concerned about mold. When I set it to mist mode, it felt a bit painful, probably because the water pressure was too strong. While an adult was using the shower in a private bath, a small child twisted the temperature control, and the temperature control may have been broken, causing boiling water to come out and almost scalding him.The chair outside the private bath was hanging, so it felt a bit dangerous as I thought I might hurt my arm. There were black stains, mold, and slippage on the floor outside the private bath. The area where the hot water came out of the public bath was surrounded by a wooden frame, but the equipment inside was probably rusted, and a large amount of rust had settled in the corner of the bath. When I put my hand on it, it was rough with small pieces of rust, some of which were about the size of the tip of my little finger. There was almost no cell phone signal in the rest room in front of the public bath.It was very inconvenient because the hotel's Wi-Fi didn't work, so I hope they at least improve the Wi-Fi connection. There was a miniature garden next to the rest room of the public bath, and there seemed to be equipment to light it up, but there was no electricity. (Energy saving?)When I left the public bath at night (around 10:30 p.m.), the lights in the rest room were turned off, so I'd be happy if they left them on for the sake of the people who come in at night. I felt that.◾️OverviewThere were a lot of small details that bothered me, and I felt like it was a waste.I wrote this a little harshly, but the inn as a whole was beautiful, and the food in particular was very delicious and satisfying.I think it's a good inn and the staff are very helpful.I give it a ⭐︎5 with high expectations.
