This is a quiet inn run by the owner who serves delicious food. This is a good old building from the Showa era, and while it may not satisfy those looking for a modern inn, you can enjoy a relaxing stay as if you were in your parents' home. It is a perfect accommodation for cyclists as it is close to Rinrin Road and a bicycle rental station. You can also access Tsukubayama Station and Tsukuba Express Station by bus.

The building is old and not very clean, but you can't eat this kind of food at this price. The rice was very delicious. The couple staying at the inn were nice people and we had a relaxing time even with noisy children. The children want to go again.

I thought it would be physically taxing to go up and back from Tsuchiura to Mt. Tsukuba by bicycle, so I made a reservation in advance and stayed here near Mt. Tsukuba. The accommodation fee was very cheap (5,700 yen including two meals), so I went with the intention of staying the night there, but I was disappointed in a good way.First of all, the people at the inn were kind and warm. The building and interior are quaint, but there is also Wi-Fi.Above all, there is a kotatsu. The room felt like an old lady's house in the countryside, and I was really into it.I can relax all day long (lol)The best part about this inn is the food, which is so good that it makes you wonder if you're spending most of your accommodation costs on the food. When I stayed there, dinner wasIt was sashimi, chicken with sesame miso dressing, yellowtail kama, grilled beef on a ceramic plate, chicken with sticky rice (maybe duck) soup, and rice (almost all-you-can-eat).Everything was beautifully presented and the food was exquisite and delicious.I like alcohol, but I was free to bring my own (there is a refrigerator in the inn), so I bought some local sake and enjoyed a very satisfying meal.I was very satisfied with the many side dishes. This inn is sure to be a repeat stay and is recommended for people who ride bicycles or climb Mt. Tsukuba.

Anyway, the food is too luxurious. And everything is too delicious. The room was old, but I was used to living in my parents' house, so it didn't bother me much.

I visited it after watching it on YouTube, and it was an amazing inn.The room is very dusty. I'm also concerned about stains and hair on my futon and sheets. Rakuten Travel said they had yukatas, but they didn't. There are no towels either. The toilet is Japanese style. So why 4 stars? ? The food is so good that you can't believe it costs 5,700 yen. All the dishes were decent and delicious. The quality of the sashimi is also good. Breakfast is also sufficient. If you can afford the room and bedding, I think the 5,700 yen half-board price is attractive. I think it's worth a try.

I stayed here for work, but next time I would like to stay there privately.Having a kotatsu in the room is also great. The futon is a traditional heavy futon, not the light and fluffy beds of today, but for someone like me who loves traditional heavy futons, this is irresistible. The building is old, but it gives you a nostalgic feeling. You can feel the history and memories of this building in the cracks in the walls and the creaking sounds in the floor. The people at the ryokan are also friendly and friendly, which is typical of the countryside, and you will feel as if you are staying at a relative's house.Baths, toilets, and dining rooms are shared, and the walls in the rooms are thin, so guests have to be careful of each other, which brings us closer and allows us to talk, which is fun.And the price is also cheap. It costs 5,800 yen including breakfast and dinner.I think the amount is enough to fill an average man's stomach.Because I was at work, I was able to have breakfast early and pay the bill first, which was helpful.Beautiful hotels are nice, but this ryokan gives you a feel of good old Japan. As someone in my late 20s, I feel like we're becoming more and more distant from people due to individualism these days. I think in the past, I was able to get closer to people and feel their warmth.I think this ryokan has the spirit of Japan that modern people are forgetting. For me, it's a wonderful inn.

A perfect location for sightseeing at the foot of Mt. Tsukuba. Although the structure is old, the room is spacious enough and is equipped with a kotatsu (Japanese kotatsu).Bath and toilet shared. The water in the bath is so hot that you'll want to stay in it forever.Meals include dinner and breakfast, and are very reasonably priced at 5,700 yen (subject to change depending on the season), making you very satisfied. If you are leaving early, they will help you pay in advance and have breakfast brought forward, making it easy to use.
