I took the Obon holiday from August 11th, Mountain Day, and went on a trip to Nagano Prefecture. We arrived at the inn at 5pm where we would stay overnight while sightseeing in Nagano Prefecture. After checking in, you can relax in your room and move to the dining hall at 6pm to have a meal.I'll get it right away.・DinnerPork pot, deer loin and camembert cheese with Swiss honey,Carp sashimi, boiled carp with sansho pepper, assorted tempura, simmered summer vegetables,The meal includes Shinshu soba, vinegared food, rice, soup, pickles, and fruit. The pork hot pot has a nice salty bonito soup, and the large piece of pork is soft and delicious. The venison at the game restaurant Manamino is crunchy, salty, and delicious. The camembert cheese drizzled with Swiss honey from Cheese Factory Bosqueso is also delicious. The carp sashimi is sweet and has a good texture, and when boiled it has a sweet sauce and the Japanese pepper gives it a spicy kick. The tempura platter has 5 types of tempura, including shrimp and mushrooms, and has a crispy texture that drains well.I had a satisfying dinner with Shinshu soba noodles and boiled vegetables.・Breakfast mealSalt-grilled salmon, fried egg, cold tofu with butterbur miso, salad, mushroom soup, rice, etc.The salt-grilled salmon is fragrant and goes well with the rice. The cold tofu served with butterbur miso is delicious with the bitterness of the butterbur miso as an accent. The tamagoyaki came with mentaiko and was well seasoned and the pickles were salty and delicious.Thank you for the meal.Dinner had a lot to offer, including carp sashimi and stew, deer loin, and more! The breakfast was orthodox, but it was well seasoned and delicious. After enjoying the smooth waters of the hot springs and relaxing, we left the inn and headed to our next destination.

This is a wonderful inn located at Kasuga Onsen, a famous and secret hot spring in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture. There are only 5 rooms in total, so it may be difficult to get a reservation during the busy season, but I would definitely come back again.Of particular note are the locally produced dinner and breakfast, and the hot springs, which are said to have a pH of 9.6. Naturally, the hot springs are fed directly from the source (because the source temperature is low, they are only heated). My skin was smooth, and I thought it was wonderful to have a hot spring bath, which is quite rare. The husband may seem difficult to get to know at first glance, but when you talk to him, he is a very friendly person. He likes to talk, and he explained the dinner menu in detail, such as what was caught here, these eggs are from us, and those are from over there, which is famous in Saku.I don't have a refrigerator in my room, so I thought it would be nice to have one, even if it was small. The host is kind, so if you ask him, he will refrigerate your drink for you, and you can get cold drinks and even ice.All of the dishes were delicious, but the one worth mentioning was the carp, which is famous in Saku. On this day, I had the carp with sake tightening instead of carp washing, but it was very delicious. There was no smell at all, and it was definitely the most delicious carp I've ever eaten in my life.Dinner is a generous portion, so we recommend coming on an empty stomach. The breakfast was a good amount, and the coffee after the meal was delicious, so I was very satisfied with my stay. Recommended!

If you are looking for a serene, calming, quiet, and peaceful ryokan, this is the one you have to choose. A small and cozy family owned ryokan. Home-made dinner and breakfast are DELICIOUS. The owner speaks good English and tries his best to explain everything to us. So friendly and welcoming. The owner's mother is super kind. She came to meet us when we were leaving, reminding us to drive safely in the fog. Very caring people. The onsen is great. We highly recommend it here if you would like a rejuvenating retreat.

Accommodation use. The hot springs have an alkaline pH of 9 and can be soaked in the hot springs overnight without adding water. Especially the hot water in the shower without circulation. I was able to enjoy the alkaline slimy feeling in conjunction with the bathtub. The carp dishes are simple and the local sake is also delicious. Warm hospitality from a family run business. A clean, one-story building with everything you need. You can see Mt. Asama in the distance from your room. The road to the inn is getting more and more rural, so I wonder if it's okay? I was worried, but I was betrayed in a good way. I think this is a nice and popular inn.

After passing through a small hot spring town and climbing a rickety road, you will find a lone inn. The bathhouse is small but has a nice view, and it's unusual that even the shower uses the hot spring water. There were several other guests that day, but the bath was almost reserved for private use. I thoroughly soaked in the slightly warm water and enjoyed a mini hot spring cure.

I used it at a day trip hot spring! This is...Once you come for a day trip, you'll definitely want to stay overnight next time. It's a place where you'll want to stay for a week or more and take your time to reflect and write. You can take a long soak in the wonderful slightly lukewarm water. Even the shower water is hot spring! That luxury. Everything in the bathroom is kept neat and clean. We look forward to seeing you again! m(_ _)m

After all, the quality of the spring water is the best. The lukewarm temperature is also just right. The food is delicious and the facility is clean.
