Although it is an old inn, it is well kept.However, there are smoking areas in the hallways and under the stairs on each floor, and no matter how much you open the windows and install an air purifier, the smell still stinks.If it weren't for this, I would give it 4 stars.

The building is old in a good way and is kept clean, giving you a sense of nostalgia. The food is carefully prepared and has delicate flavors. And since the building is several dozen meters away from the road where cars pass, you can spend a quiet night. It is worth more than the price and is probably the best inn in this area. I see no reason to stay at any other inn. All rooms are non-smoking, but there is a smoking area inside the building under the stairs, so there is no need to smoke outside in the cold winter.

Thank you for your help on my business trip.My wife made a reservation after reading reviews saying the food was delicious.As the reviews said, the food was delicious and I ended up eating way too much.I would also like to take care of you when you are on a business trip.

Everything is nicely cleaned. It's a long stay, but the sheets are clean every time and the food is great! ️I'll probably get fat if I stay here😃

I used it when I traveled to northern Iwate Prefecture. It will be an inn with the atmosphere of a good old business inn.There seem to be several types of rooms, but the one I stayed in was a 6 tatami Japanese style room. The room is equipped with simple equipment such as a TV, kettle and tea sweets, but it is sufficient for a short stay. As for the refrigerator, I was told that I could borrow the one from the hostel.Although the building is older, the communal water area has been thoroughly updated, and I was impressed by how clean and tidy every corner of the washroom was. Disposable toothbrushes are also provided as amenities.The bathhouse was large enough for 2-3 people to use at the same time, and although it was not a hot spring, it was warm enough to be used 24 hours a day.As for the food, it goes without saying that there is a Japanese restaurant next door. Both breakfast and dinner were very elegant and delicious. I was grateful that I could get free refills of rice. Also, although I didn't order it that day, I was told that I could also drink draft beer.At first, I thought the price was a little high at 7,300 yen for one night and two meals, but considering the food and the cleanliness of the room, I felt it was a good value for money. I think it's mainly used by construction workers for business purposes, but I think it's a good location and convenient as a base for traveling in northern Iwate Prefecture.The location is a little over 10 minutes walk from IGR Tome Station, so it's also easy to access by train.
