GIVE ME FIVE -camp & stay-

Thank you for your help for a week at the beginning of autumn, which feels like summer. At first I stayed in the porch room with my friends, and finally I stayed in the athletic room by myself. Both were extremely comfortable. I also experienced BBQ with everyone I met at the inn. Goto's meat, fish, and vegetables are delicious, and a little bit? I drank too much lol. This is the perfect inn to spend time in Goto in any season. thank you very much.

The moment you open the front door, you'll be impressed by the tasteful space you'll see!I was able to relax in the clean living room and room that smelled like wood and had a good night's sleep.The owner, Teppei, treated the three very free and carefree young girls in a very natural manner (^^)Thank you for the 5 days!I’m really grateful x I’m grateful ♡Next time I would like to stay with my family!

My family of 4 took care of me in July. I was a little worried because my child was still young, but I'm just grateful that they welcomed me so warmly.It was very comfortable and I felt relaxed and at home.Unfortunately, we were not blessed with good weather, but I sincerely think that it was a good trip thanks to staying here.It has become a place I definitely want to visit when I return to Goto. (My daughter also often says “I want to meet Teppei-san!” lol)

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family including 2 preschoolers in September. The children were very attached to the owner, Mr. Tepei, and had lots of fun playing with him! I had seen some videos posted on YouTube beforehand, but when I actually went there, it was even more wonderful than I had imagined. There are many experiences unique to Goto, and the whole family especially raved about the deep-fried scampi that you caught.The surroundings are very quiet and completely private. At night, you could hear the sounds of insects and the starry sky was beautiful. Also, the sunset at the nearby Takahama Beach was exceptional, and we were able to make some very good memories. Depending on the time, you can have the sea all to yourself, and the location of the inn is perfect!I had so many memories that I can't write about them, and I definitely want to go again. We stayed with 3 adults and 1 child.The old house has been beautifully renovated, and the plumbing was clean and comfortable.There are many ways in which guests can enjoy themselves, making it a fun experience that goes beyond just staying overnight.The children seemed to really enjoy the barbecue and playing with handprints, and said they would like to stay again next year.I think this is a very good accommodation, especially for families.I want to go there again!

Thank you for taking care of us for 3 days of camping.Since it was close to the sea, I was able to snorkel first thing in the morning, and Takahama Beach was reserved for private use.At night, the location is great with a bonfire and BBQ while looking at the Milky Way ☆As everyone has said, it was an inn filled with the hospitality of the owner.Thank you for the fulfilling island life experience of fishing and shrimp catching.The fish and shrimp I caught myself were exceptionally delicious!

I had an exceptional stay at Give Me Five on Goto Island, Nagasaki—it truly felt like a six-star experience. This was not only the most affordable place I found on the island, but it also came with some of the best hospitality I’ve ever encountered. The owner, Teppei-san, is a remarkable host and traveler, having visited over 57 countries. He told me that he received help from others during his travels and now wants to give back, particularly to foreigners. As a foreigner myself, I was deeply touched by his generosity and kindness.1. Getting There and Pick-up ServiceWhile renting a car is the easiest way to reach Give Me Five, my international driving permit had expired, making that option difficult. Instead, I took a bus to Miiraku, and despite this being outside of any official service, Teppei-san personally picked me up from the bus station. His willingness to go out of his way to help made me feel instantly welcomed and at home.2. Value for MoneyWe opted for a wild camping experience, and I was amazed by how affordable it was—just ¥3000 per person, with an additional ¥1500 for a second person sharing the same tent. The campsite is a traditional Japanese-style house with modern facilities, which you can check out on their website. Despite the low cost, the experience was incredibly rich and well worth it.3. LocationThe location is another highlight. Give Me Five is situated close to Takahama Beach, known as Japan’s most scenic beach. However, it’s not in the busy city part of Goto Island. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by hills, this is the perfect spot. The tranquility of the area adds a unique charm to the stay.4. Activities• Fishing: One of the highlights of my stay was the free fishing experience offered by Teppei-san. Along with another guest, Ms. Yuki, my boyfriend and I had an unforgettable time learning how to fish. Teppei-san was patient and knowledgeable, making it a fun and educational activity for all of us.• BBQ: The BBQ experience was another memorable part of our stay. We chose to bring our own ingredients, while Yuki-san brought hers. Together, we prepared, cooked, and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The sense of community and shared experience made this one of the best memories from our trip. The fact that we could cook and eat together under the stars added to the magic of the evening.5. FoodEven though we didn’t formally order meals from Teppei-san, he went above and beyond by preparing several traditional dishes for us. He served us freshly made sashimi from squid and a famous local fish from Goto, along with yakitori and tofu. Everything was incredibly delicious, and his simple yet beautiful presentation added to the experience. After the meal, everyone pitched in to clean up the campsite, which was spotless in just 10 minutes—a testament to Teppei-san’s emphasis on cleanliness and community.6. Overall ExperienceMy stay at Give Me Five far exceeded my expectations. Sleeping in a tent nestled by the hills, fishing, BBQing, and gazing at the clear night sky full of stars—these are memories I will cherish forever. Teppei-san created a warm and homely atmosphere that made the experience truly special. On the day we had to leave, he even drove us to the bus station at 6:30 AM so we could catch the earliest ferry for our flight. Later, he noticed we had forgotten some belongings and made sure they were sent back to us. His attention to detail and care for his guests are unmatched. As a foreigner, I highly recommend Give Me Five to anyone visiting Nagasaki or Goto Island—you won’t regret it.7. It was a shame that I only stayed for one night, but it was a place I would love to go to again! !We went camping in the middle of summer, and we had a BBQ and looked at the stars with a family that happened to be there, and they told us a lot of recommended spots, so I thought I should have stayed longer ☺️Next time, I would like to try snorkeling and fishing!

It was a wonderful inn full of hospitality from an owner who has traveled all over the world!Clean and comfortable! My family of three stayed in a room on the first floor for two nights, and it was clean and comfortable.At the same time, there were guests staying on the upper floor, but the toilets were separate for men and women.There was no waiting time 🫶The room is a renovated old folk house, so you will definitely hear the sounds of daily life, so if you are concerned about that, you may need to be careful. We didn't care 🫶The meal was BBQ, but when I requested Goto ingredients, I was able to receive a very delicious meal 🫶The owner was very considerate, thank you very much.I was able to stay without any inconvenience.I can recommend it with confidence 🫶Next time I would like to stay for about 3 nights.Thank you very much🫶
