Used for day trip bathing. The parking lot is located a little further down the road. Please note that day trip bathing hours are quite limited. We recommend checking in advance. There is only one small bathtub, and if 6 people can fit in, it will be full. We're all huddled together there...It's a cold spring, and you soak in it for about 30 minutes, then finally take a warm bath. The quality of the springs is good, it's rare, and I think it's worth going in, but it's not relaxing and it's small, so I personally feel like you only need to go once.

I've been to many places, but this is the best hot spring innJust being around this area is like forest bathing.A one-of-a-kind hot spring that you can experience even for just two nights. There is no air conditioning. This place should be visited by serious people, not just for fun.I wonder what will happen to me if I spend a week regularly without alcohol.I feel such an unfathomable power.

I visited during the Obon holidays. Since the day trip facility was closed, I looked for it and found out that this one was open for a limited time. You can take a day trip from 10:00 to 11:30. There is a gravel parking lot about 100 meters below, which is designated as a parking lot. There was a gravel parking lot on the right after you passed the building, but I think you can park there unless you arrive very early. When you go inside after checking in, you'll find a bathroom, but there are no lockers with keys, so you'll have to leave your valuables at the reception. There are two bathtubs, and the baths are heated with radium hot water, and there are instructions on the wall for bathing, but the temperature of the radium springs is thought to be lower than body temperature. That left me cold and we took turns. Unlike the radon that I usually go to, it is a radioactive spring with a lower temperature, so I think from a Siltem perspective, it means that you are exposed to radiation from the outside. Unlike my partner, I don't have a weak stomach, so I made sure to drink the hot spring water and take in it from within. Is it salty and has a light taste with a bit of iron mixed in, and is it carbonic acid? There was a fizzing feeling that seemed to be. I thought it would be short at one and a half hours, but it was more than enough. Rinse-in shampoo? There was something labeled as shampoo and body soap. There was also a hair dryer and a T-ji razor. There were some parts of the road that were quite steep, but it wasn't so narrow that you would be surprised, so if you drive slowly you should be fine with a camping car, but there were quite a few people who weren't very good at it and couldn't get close to the edge. I saw many people running in the middle. There aren't many cars passing by, but you should drive carefully. As a side note, it seemed to take effect on my partner immediately and he was exhausted. The road beyond this hot spring village is narrow and steep, so if you have a large vehicle such as a camper, it is best to return the way you came.

This inn is really difficult to write a review for. This is an old hot spring inn with a Showa era feel. Of course, this inn is almost certainly not suitable for those who enjoy regular hot springs. On the other hand, if you are suffering from an intractable disease or chronic pain, you will probably have no problem visiting this hot spring inn as long as your symptoms and efficacy match. (When I stayed there, most of the guests were like that.) It seems like this is an inn where things are taken care of, and the refrigerator in the room is a vintage National (now Panasonic) refrigerator (probably a model from over 40 years ago). I was surprised that it was working. I'm amazed at how amazing the home appliances were back in the days when people were good at making things. This may seem repetitive, but this inn is for hot springs. I think you should understand this before visiting. (Below, I have listed the bad and good points that I felt)◎Bad points (guest room)・The sofa next to the window is so old that the cushions are barely working. Also, the carpet on the floor near the window looks old and dirty. I feel like if we remove that sofa and table, remove the carpet, and stick it on the cushioned floor, it will become a great storage space for luggage. (You can view the valley even while standing)・The toilet doorknob seems to be coming off. You can fix it DIY (with just a screwdriver) by referring to Youtube without having to hire a professional. I hope it gets fixed soon.◎Good points (service & spring quality)・It's good to have a futon ready to lay out at any time. After your first hot spring bath, the hot water will definitely help you take a nap, which is helpful.・Eating in your room means you don't have to worry about transportation. Since it is a hot spring treatment, it is important to eat as little as possible and take a break from the bath.・It's good to be able to choose the amount of food for each price. Although it was a 7-course meal plan, the quantity was just right and each side dish was deliciously cooked. (The vegetables and rice were delicious! Also, the carp arai was delicious and had no smell. I don't want to eat tuna sashimi in the mountains like this...)・The quality of the hot spring water is powerful. For the past month, I have been having severe lower back pain and back pain, so I asked if there was anything I could do about it, but after two days of taking a bath, the pain had subsided considerably. Highly concentrated low-temperature springs are a great option for hot spring treatments during the hot months. (For my constitution, one night's hot water treatment seems to be just right. Two nights feels like it's too effective.) The bathing method is as per other reviews. (30 minutes bath → hot bath)The overall rating is ★3- so that the average hot spring visitor will not be misunderstood, but as someone who visited the spa for a hot spring treatment, I think it's a ★4+. We would appreciate it if you could use this information as a reference for your visit.

I went to Masutomi Onsen in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is said to be the best radium hot spring in Japan. A secluded hot spring hotel with a Showa era feel. Perhaps because of the effectiveness of the hot springs, there were surprisingly many customers for such a remote location. Deep in the mountains, on the banks of a mountain stream, it is not a hot spring town, but a quiet natural environment. Both the inn and the bathhouse are old, and are intended for hot spring bathers, not tourists. It seems that it has been called Ryosen since ancient times as Shingen's secret hot spring. It was my first time here, and the source water was a little cloudy and the temperature was low. I knew that radium springs cannot be heated to high temperatures because the ingredients are gone, but this was the first time I had experienced it. I didn't have a thermometer, but it felt like 30 to 35 degrees. I don't think so. First, soak in the hot spring water for about 30 minutes, then soak in the rising water (approximately 43 degrees Celsius, boiling tap water) to warm your body. Even after soaking in the hot spring for about 30 minutes with my eyes closed, I didn't feel either cold or hot, so I felt that the temperature of the water was slightly lower than my body temperature. I was told that it was possible to drink the spring water, so I scooped it up from the source and put it in my mouth, but it tasted like a mixture of strong saltiness, sourness, and astringency. There were many indications for hot springs, and they were said to be effective against neuralgia, skin diseases, and even gout, but the hot springs were so good that they seemed to be effective against all kinds of illnesses. After taking a bath, your skin will be moist and smooth. However, no matter how long you soak in the water, your body won't warm up, so you won't get the usual "Ah, that's a nice bath" feeling. Also, the bathhouse is small, so if 5 people enter, it will be full, so I think the maximum is 6 people. My neighbor is right next to me, so I can't stretch my body, so it's a bit tiring to stay huddled in the hot water for 30 minutes. The men's and women's baths are separated and alternate depending on the time of day. Home-cooked meals are delivered to your room. It's true that the ingredients are very good for the body, but I feel like it depends on the person whether it's relaxing or not. I can recommend it if you are coming for a hot spring treatment.I don't think I'll come back unless I'm recovering from an illness because I like hot springs and you can't do floating baths to stretch your body here.

A day trip to the radium hot springsI soaked it in.I think they were open from 10am, but when I arrived after 9am, they said, ``It's okay,'' and let me through. There seemed to be few other customers, which I was grateful for.It snowed while I was taking a bath, and I drove through the snow on my way home.It was a very nice hot spring.

It was my first time there. The building gives a sense of long historyIt was a bit old, but unfortunately the room didn't have a good sense of cleanliness. (I don't know if it was due to a leak, but there were quite a few stains😭)It was my first time to go to a hot spring for a hot spring treatment, but my skin is not good, so I only stayed in the hot spring for two days, but I felt a little better, so if I have time, I will come again. It seems like
