A campsite deep in the mountains. A chorus of frogs sings in the rice fields along the way. A pheasant walking along the ridge. Cicada shower at the campsite. The constant sound of birds and a sense of nature. For that reason, my wife was nervous at first, worried that she might get dark circles. but. When I asked the manager, he assured me, ``No, I've never seen it here.'' I was relieved. When you relax and look around the campsite, you can see the spacious site and the traces of various improvements that have been made, giving it a homely atmosphere. They let me use the refrigerator freely, so I can buy second-day meat with confidence (which was helpful since the supermarket was far away). What's more, the administration building is open 24 hours a day, so if you want to drink beer in the middle of the night, all you have to do is take it out of the fridge and put some money in it.I was impressed. Free Wi-Fi is also available. I was very satisfied.

During the Golden Week, I used it for both climbing Mt. Mizugaki and camping. I made a reservation, but I was worried after seeing so many bad reviews. But when I visited, my fears were unfounded. Some people have written that the approach road is rough, but for us (Serena) it's not so bad. There are a lot of regular minivans etc. Be careful if you don't like uneven surfaces.🔴Good pointsIt's very pleasant in the forest of white birch, karamatsu, and red pine (depending on the weather). Does it also depend on the site? A large tent or tarp is also fine.I've used it here and there for over 20 years now, and my impressions are pretty good.⭕There are wooden play equipment such as swings and trampolines for children everywhere. I wanted to come here when my kids were small.🔴Very good point⭕You can use the refrigerator. Since we stayed for 3 nights, we were able to save the meat until the next day, which was helpful. I happen to be surrounded by families with good manners, so it's comfortable.⭕Free pizza ovenIt's easy and saves you the trouble of cooking in a Dutch oven. Reservation required at check-in. There is a video QR code for how to bake. If the heat is weak, it won't cook properly and will become hard. It's easy if you bring a burner.⭕Free Wi-FiI am very grateful that there is Wi-Fi at the campsite. Especially if you're staying for several nights, it's easy to contact them and it's very helpful.⭕With your back to the administration building, head to your right and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the campsite next door. The view of Mt. Mizugaki from there is spectacular. Please take a look. It is a rugged and cool mountain that is one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains.🟡Be careful🟡During Golden Week, it gets quite cold at night, although it's not as cold as midwinter. If you're sensitive to cold, a down jacket is a must. It might be cold at night with a three-season sleeping bag. So I added a blanket and survived.🟡ShoppingIf you are accessing from western Japan, make sure to stop at the supermarket near the Chuo Expressway Nagasaka IC. There is no supermarket beyond that point. Ogino Nagasaka store also sold firewood and charcoal.🟡When you go to the toilet at nightIt's pitch black after the lights go out at 10pm, so check the scenery on your way home to avoid getting lost. I walked without turning on the lamp and took in the whole view. You can also use a flashing headlamp near your tent as a landmark.🟡By other users who were presentDepending on the situation, there may be people with bad manners. This is luck.

The atmosphere feels different than in Izu or along the Doshi River. It was my first time there, but the campgrounds may differ depending on the region. I really liked it. I thought it was a very good environment for families.

The uneven road to the campsite administration building is quite difficult. Ipponbashi is also likely to cause a major accident if the tire goes off. The administration building is unmanned at night, but you can pay with PayPay or cash at any time. The campsite is quiet at night and the sky is full of stars.

A campsite covered in trees.Although the sky is narrow, you may be able to survive even in bad weather. It is full of nature, with a river flowing several hundred meters in front of the campsite entrance, and there was a waterfall at a right angle as shown in the photo! Each plot is large and you can choose as you like. There are also bungalows. If you climb a little bit, you can reach the upper natural park campsite and admire Mt. Mizugaki.

Campsite is great, surrounded with trees and you can see beautiful stars during clear night sky. Owners are also kind and very friendly too. Only that it is very pricey, despite the “facilities” which is far from good. Thats it, nothing else. You have to pay for the site, which is already high, but then you will be charged per head, and you have to pay for shower (100yen for 3mins.), and shower room is in very poor condition. Washlets are available but not connected to the power. (I bet if I asked to use, it will always be すみませんが今使えませんが。。。). Wanna enjoy the trampoline? Pay! “Playground” is not a playground at all. Only some old swings.I ended up paying almost 20,000yen for 3D2N. And you cannot cancel your booking without being charged!! With that price I could have just rent out some airbnbs or hotels with free shower, heater etc.So, I paid that price only to have my tent and gears all wet and soaked because it was raining non stop for 2 days (gotta come anyway because of the ridiculous no free cancelling policy) Not recommended and not going to come again. (If the price become a bit cheaper I may come again every year!)

We recommend the above natural park campground. Since the operator is abnormal, we do not know when or what kind of disadvantage he will suffer.

I went on vacation with a friend and enjoyed camping at the foot of Mt. Mizugaki. When I told the staff that I was planning to climb Mt. Mizugaki the next day, they very kindly told me about recommended routes and things to see.The site is so cool and comfortable that you can't believe it's the intense heat of August, you can feel nature, and we're very satisfied with the price. There seems to be a limited time available, but it looks like you can also use the tent sauna, so I'd like to try it next time.I'll come again♪

It was my first time using it.It felt so relaxing and full of nature!Even if you're a beginner at camping, you can rest assured that all the tools you need in case you run into trouble are ready! The price even felt cheap considering the various facility usage fees! The staff at the facility were very responsive and I felt comfortable using the facility. I would like to use it again! Also, I happened to get some shito peppers from someone who was making vegetables, and it was really delicious ^_^It's a coincidence, so you won't get it every time.
