I stayed at a trailer-based cottage called Grande Scandinavian for 3 days and 2 nights on Friday and Saturday with my family of 3 and our dog.I had been to PICA at Fuji Saiko and other places and had a good impression, so I had high expectations. My impression is that I won't go there anymore. In short, although it was fairly expensive, it was unsanitary and not comfortable.◻️Cottage, equipmentI had high expectations since the cottage was renovated in December 2013. The kitchen was new and clean, and the atmosphere in the other rooms was showing its age, but it wasn't bad. However, what was fatal was that the bathroom was an old unit bath and was full of mold and had a strong odor, and it was clearly not cleaned properly. It's not like the person in front of me got it dirty, it's just that I haven't washed it properly for a long time. There is mold all over the walls, floors and ceilings that can be removed with a little wiping.I wouldn't complain if it was a communal toilet at a campsite, since it was outside, but I felt it was a little strange for a cottage I paid a lot of money to rent. There are cutlery, plates, cups, cooking utensils, etc., but you won't be able to reach those itchy areas, so if you cook properly, it's better to bring your own.◻️LocationIt was conveniently located close to Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi. It was convenient because I was planning to go to the nearby Fuji Subaru Land. However, since the site is close to the road, there will be some noise when cars pass by. There was no noise from biker gangs as others have said, and it was quiet at night.◻️PriceIt was about 77,000 yen for 2 nights with the Friday discount.◻️Atmosphere on the premisesThe reception was recently renovated and is beautiful. However, the other common facilities on the premises feel old overall. Also, the campsites and cottages are all crowded together, so there is no sense of privacy. It was crowded with many customers on Saturday. No one is particularly noisy, but you can hear people talking.I'm really disappointed in the hygiene aspect. If the bathroom and toilet looked like that, I assumed that the rest of the cleaning was not done properly, so I didn't feel comfortable.◻️Customer service, etc.The receptionist was a young woman. It's not a bad feeling, but it's not a particularly friendly one. There is no particular explanation, just read the file. minimal communication. It felt like I was at the counter of a manga cafe. There were times when I passed people who appeared to be staff members in the venue, but there were no particular nods or greetings.Everything else about PICA Resort was comfortable and good, so I had high expectations, but I was disappointed. I don't think I will visit here again. Even if the aging facilities are partially renovated, the other facilities stand out and the hospitality is not felt.I think this is greatly lowering the impression of other PICA resorts, so I hope this will be improved.

The good thing is...No need to throw away used ashesThe sofa is soft. The bad part is...We stopped in a trailer cabin, but it was a bit smoking probably because it was old! ? There was a smell, the screen door was torn, and some windows couldn't be opened. There's no table. There is no toilet or kitchen. There are no electrical outlets next to the bed.

We used the cottage with children including infants. The facility itself had a coin laundry and a bathroom, which was helpful, but the noise from biker gangs at night was terrible. Since the cottage I stayed at was along the road, I could hear the sounds of cars, flickering lights, and voices calling for friends all the way until dawn...I couldn't rest at all. It was parked along the road for a while even after it got light, and I was scared to go to the bathroom. Even in the morning, I could hear loud music from far away, and even though I had been hoping for a refreshing morning, I felt a bit strange. I stayed there on Saturday, so maybe it was just a coincidence that it was a weekend, but I don't want to go anymore...

Compared to 20 years ago, it felt quite crowded and small, but the staff was very responsive and made me feel at ease.I think it's good for families with children. There were more tents.

We stayed in the cottage for one night. The attached bath is small and the shower bed cannot be fixed in the middle and sticks to the right or left wall, so it is better not to use it. I think it's a good idea to bring your own shampoo as well. The worst part was the fire pit on the balcony. What's not good about it is that the enclosure is big and expensive, so it's not warm at all, and you can't see the flames. It was a shame that you couldn't enjoy a proper bonfire unless you burned it really hard.

When you think of camping, there are luxurious facilities and space is small. At first I thought it would be nice because it was close to a water source, but people and cars were constantly passing in front of me. It's hard to sit down without making eye contact. It's close to the neighboring cottage and the passageway is also close. Is this normal for a cottage?Last time I went to the Koan campsite, it was spacious, so I had to compare it. Maybe it's good during the off-season.The customer base isn't bad, but it feels like you're in an apartment and it feels stuffy.A cottage with a dog run might have more space, but...

I stayed at Hammock Cottage on March 30th.In the middle of the night, a gasoline lantern exploded and a fire broke out at the tent site next door, and many fire trucks were there.I intended to take a rest, but it turned out to be noisy and disappointing. Also, it was difficult to control the heating temperature.

230331I booked a yurt for a trip with my second son Bo.I was able to make a reservation even at the last minute since I was using the hotel on Sundays and months.I was able to use tourist support, so it was cheap and included a local use coupon.PICA has a bathhouse, the facilities are clean, and the staff is courteous. This is the perfect facility for casual camping where you don't have to worry about bringing your own gear.It would be great if there was a washing area closer, but that's tolerable.Although the name is Fuji, you can't see Mt. Fuji at all.``Eisho Suisan'' and ``Ochaya Meat Shop'' are places I always stop by when camping around the Fuji Five Lakes.I bought 4 raw oysters, 2 scallops, and sashimi at Eisho Suisan, and I bought wagyu beef and horse sashimi at a tea and meat shop.Of course, I buy raw oysters with their shells on so that they can be used as grilled oysters. Grilled scallops.Wagyu beef is short ribs and skirt steak. We had it on the terrace of the yurt.On the way back, I went to ``Houtougura Ayunari Kawaguchiko Branch'' as a tourist support benefit.I ordered the hoouto with pork and the minced small bowl.was delicious. There's Melody 🎵 Road nearby, so why not give it a try?
