Breakfast is a gentle Japanese meal. It's also nice to be able to choose the time you want to eat.The room is a normal Japanese room that is a bit old. There are no bath towels, but this is clearly stated on the reservation site. The kids were happy every time a train passed by along the railroad tracks. However, it shakes a little. lolThe host is a very friendly and nice person. The location is close to Shinano-Omachi Station, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner.

I was surprised a lot after using it.What surprised me most of all wasThere were used towels provided. There were a lot of hairballs. And there are no bath towels. The parking lot is grassy. The hanger is made of wire, and it's warped. There is also no tea set provided in the room.Hand washing soap and paper towels were out of stock. The rice is plentiful, but I'm not sure what the main dish is.The rooms are also old and dirty. The walls in the toilet are thin and you can hear the noise next door. It's awkward.I can't help but hear the train noise, but I couldn't understand why the reviews were so high.I felt like I was staying at my grandma's house.

Marukatsu Inn is very close to the train station, with convenient transportation. The house is clean and tidy. It is a "B&B" in the true classic sense, different from the small hotel-style "B&B" like AirBnB. For non-Japanese people, Marukatsu Ryokan is interesting because it’s like staying at a friend’s house and gives you a chance to get a glimpse into the Japanese way of life. When I came back here in the evening, a pool of hot water with a suitable temperature had been put in when I took a shower. It really felt like home. The owner is polite, down-to-earth and professional, and the yukata provided in the room is evenly starched. The quilt is so comfortable! After living there for a day, I understood why. The owner was very diligent in drying the quilts, so the bedding was always in good condition. It is usually very peaceful and quiet, but when the train passes by there is noise and vibration, but it soon returns to calm, so I think it is an interesting experience rather than a shortcoming. The price is cheap and great value for money. Living here will give you a sense of security and happiness. I like it very much.
