It seemed like check-in was done on a tablet, so there was no staff and it was unmanned.I stayed in the annex, which was like an abandoned apartment building that had been slightly renovated and was very scary. The hallway was filthy, like an abandoned building, and common equipment such as the microwave oven was so filthy that it had not been maintained at all.As for the room, only the visible areas were kept clean, and the area under the bed was full of dust and dead insects. There were no curtains, only tattered blinds that let in light. The windows are poorly installed and you can hear the sound of trains passing nearby.I couldn't believe that there were several cockroaches in the room even though it was mid-October.Maybe it wasn't cleaned very well, or maybe there were gaps in the room. I didn't want to go back to my room and thought about just going home, but I gave up because I had been drinking and couldn't drive. Even though it was a guest house, I thought the condition was really questionable. Let's do the bare minimum.Overall, it was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in.

I made a reservation on short notice because my family was moving. I went to the annex by mistake and went to the main building, but due to the atmosphere of the beauty salon entrance, I tried to enter through the night entrance, but I couldn't enter.😖However, I really enjoyed my first experience✨I hardly passed any of the overnight guests😃

Room condition is good. Cleanliness is good. The location is right behind the station, making it convenient to move around. There are many large supermarkets nearby, so you can buy food cheaper than convenience stores and cook and eat in the lobby. The downside is that the guest house is cold overall because it is a remodel of an old Japanese house.;;; (There is a heater in the room) There is no manager and it feels like it is managed unmanned, so people who are not used to using kiosks or tablets may have difficulty checking in. there is. As you use it, you will realize why the facilities in Japanese houses are designed to be small. Anyway, it was a unique experience and I recommend it if you want a quiet stay.Room condition is good. We used the annex during the cold season. The room was clean with minimal facilities, but there were a lot of insects in the hallway, so I thought it would be even worse in the summer. lolIt can be a little scary to go to your room alone at night. If I have a chance, I would like to stay in the main building next time.

It's right next to the station but not loud. Also the room was quiet after the music was turned off at 10pm.The tatami room was big enough for 4 foreigner sized foreigners.Sheets and towels were provided. The shower was good too.All is a bit small but feels recently renovated.Automatic check-in and check-out by app was easy. There's parking for 550¥ one street over towards the station. A small street connects it, so you can walk there in 2 min.----Update for second stay:Yoshi is the second house of chAho hostel. Here are smaller private rooms only, I think. Last time I stayed in the main house with 4 people. This time I stayed alone in a double room. For just ~¥4000 it's very good. There's a TV, air purifier, air-conditioner, water cooker and fridge. Outside in the hall is also a microwave and some amenities like a hair dryer. The main house has a shared kitchen. It's nicely renovated and better than most standard business hotels.

It seems that there are a surprising number of young people moving to the area around Nirasaki Station, and this dormitory seems to be one of them. It is perfect for accessing Houou Sanzan, and the walls are decorated with pictures of mountains. It's unmanned, so there's a trick to checking in.

It was convenient that it was close to the station. The automatic check-in machine was unfriendly and took a long time. I think it would be safer if at least one staff member was there. The inside was beautifully renovated and the kitchen was easy to use.One of the shower rooms was out of order, but the others were usable. Perhaps because the original residence was old, it was cramped in some areas and there were many steps. The stairs were steep. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it was comfortable with indirect lighting and the air conditioner working well.Unfortunately, the walls seemed to be very thin, and I could hear the children's voices passing by in the hallway, as well as the voices of their parents admonishing them. It wasn't unpleasant in itself, but I was careful about the sounds I made. There is no front desk and staff are not always on hand, so it may be inconvenient for those who want to leave their luggage before and after check-in.
