In one word, it was the worst. My family and I used this service after seeing a concert in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and thinking about the next day's itinerary as we headed north. For that reason, I was looking for a hotel with late check-in, and the Raku○ site said it was open until 24:00, so it was very convenient. However, when I called to make a reservation, it seemed like the information was incorrect, and they were reluctant to check in at 10pm.I said to myself, ``Hmm, but if that's the case, I'll just barely have time to take a bath. It's okay.'' I got permission and was relieved that I had finally made the arrangements. On the day of the concert, I finished watching the concert as planned, and since I would have eaten dinner at 10pm, I went to the nearest convenience store (15km from the hotel) and bought some dinner. At 9:50 pm, I received an urgent call from the hotel. At this point, I felt a little uncomfortable that they had asked for 22:00 instead of 24:00, and that they had called me urgently even earlier than that. When I arrived at 9:53 pm and immediately tried to enter the hotel with my luggage, I noticed that there were no words of gratitude or welcome to the guests who had driven for such a long time on a road where even cars could barely pass each other. "Please put your shoes in the shoe rack," he instructed. As I was about to check in, I thought to myself, ``Aren't you coming here in person?'' I told her about the concert in Fuji City, which I mentioned when I made the reservation, and she said, ``Oh, sightseeing.'' "Well, I thought I knew the way well because it was late," he said, daringly telling the customer that he was late.I gave some explanation on the spot.``The bath is over there, and I would appreciate it if you could take a bath right after.Breakfast will be served there starting at 8:00.If you want to take a bath in the morning, please do so before breakfast.'' Thank you.'' He gave instructions rather than guidance.Furthermore, he said, ``There are no other customers today, so tomorrow, on the contrary, there will be a lot of customers, so that's it.'', as if blaming us for choosing today (Saturday night). I did. When we were shown to our room, they didn't say anything like ``Please take your time.'' They let us in and quickly disappeared. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, so I couldn't keep the things I'd bought hot or cold, but I followed the instructions and went to the bathroom. As I tried to pass through the noren curtain at the entrance to the bath, I felt a shock and severe pain in my head.Apparently, it used to be operated with sliding doors rather than noren, and the rails that fit the doors were hidden by the noren.I'm 189cm tall, so I hit the rail that was hidden at a height of about 178cm.When I returned to my room after taking a bath, I was furious at the hotel that didn't even warn me of this danger, and there was a gap in the door that I could see inside.I couldn't stand everything anymore, and I didn't want to be in charge of breakfast at a place like this, so I went to the front desk and thought about refusing, but there was no one within earshot of the front desk.I consider lodging to be a big event when traveling, so I was feeling very sad about what had happened to me as I checked out after this.I don't know if common sense doesn't apply because it's so remote, but if I could give it zero stars, I'd give it that. This post is for everyone when choosing an inn where common sense as a human being doesn't apply, there are no facilities, the building is dangerous, there are security problems, and you can't contact the employees no matter what. I sincerely hope that this information will be of some use to you in your travel plans.Thank you for taking the time to read.
