It's in a great category as a campsite. There are a variety of sections to accommodate a variety of campers. On the other hand, I had a bad experience with the manager, which was by far the worst of all the hundreds of nights I spent camping.- From the beginning of the reservation, there was a conversation that we would be able to select a site that was close to our preference for 3 consecutive nights.- After arriving, I was assigned a site in front of the administration building, which was very crowded, so when I asked for another site when I made the reservation, the administrator's mother said, ``You can choose any site you like, as long as it's on the edge.'' Please take a look at it.However, there are no customers who would like something like that.''I received a reply that seemed to be bothersome.- When I asked to go on a tour, I was not told in advance which sites were available, so when I made a note of the site that was close to my preference and returned, Mr. Kouji, who seemed to be the administrator, said, ``I have a full schedule, and in the first place, the site is... "I don't think you have a choice," he yelled.- Next, he gets into a scolding argument with his mother, saying, ``Why are you doing such a selfish thing when other people have such a well-planned schedule?''- In the end, I said, ``Didn't I talk to you on the phone when I made the reservation?'' and the site like ``Impai'' was opened and the matter was settled.I've heard that it doesn't cause any inconvenience during the busy season, but I was appalled by the arbitrary and biased behavior of the manager and the abusive language between family members. It's a shame because the site is good, but it made me want to choose another campsite next time.

This is my second time here. When I came last fall, the manager gave me some boiled chestnuts. I was asked to try the shimeji mushrooms that were growing on the site because they were delicious, and to my surprise, I ate them and they were delicious. Konkai received a handmade Christmas wreath. I like the homely atmosphere.

Used site D-15 in mid-November.I chose this site instead of along the river because I wanted to feel more like a forest. The whole area is covered with fallen leaves, and there are still some autumn leaves left, creating a very nice atmosphere.Probably because it was a weekday, there weren't many people using the site, so I chose the site when I came in the morning. The receptionist was very friendly and showed us information about availability and recommended sites, and when I showed my face at checkout, she gave me a discount coupon for a nearby hot spring. It has become my favorite campsite, where I can camp very comfortably.I will definitely come again.

Nestled within the tranquil arms of the Minami Alps in Japan, our mid-October camping expedition was nothing short of a splendid retreat into nature's embrace. With the site conveniently positioned near a soothing river, the gentle murmurs of its flow became a melodious backdrop that effortlessly erased the mental clutter of our daily lives. The campsite itself presented a mystical aura, especially as the rocks were laid out akin to a traditional Japanese garden, and the enveloping forest offered a serene quietude that was both calming and invigorating. Nightfall brought a crisp coldness that was staved off by our trusty stove and cozy warm jackets, ensuring comfort amidst the chilly embrace of the alpine environment. Our children found their own joy, embarking on adventurous escapades into the inviting darkness, discovering the secret treasures hidden within the night. In a blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and a dash of exhilarating nocturnal adventures for the young ones, the camping site has etched a memorable mark into our hearts. So much so, that our family is unanimously looking forward to being enveloped by its peaceful charm once more next year. Truly, a pristine escape for soulful rejuvenation and familial bonding.

A campsite that I have visited several times. It's a great campsite with great scenery and beautiful sites, but the guy who handles reservations has a really bad attitude.

Overall it was great! The river and the stars were beautiful, it was quiet at night, the site was spacious, and it was the best. The road along the way is a bit narrow, but there aren't many cars on the road, so I think it's okay.To check in, just enter the entrance and park in a large area in front of the administration building.

A campsite surrounded by nature along the Otake River. The sites are each unique, including a location facing a river with a scenic view overlooking the Houou Sanzan, Mt. Kaikomagatake, and Mt. Yatsugatake, as well as a site around a pond where children can play in the water and a site in a wooded area with a high degree of privacy. It has a great charm.Although it is located in the middle of nature, the site is so exquisitely laid out that you won't notice it, and you can stay comfortably while maintaining a suitable distance from your neighbors. Here, we recommend pitching a slightly larger tent and tarp and relaxing and admiring the magnificent scenery.(The site can easily fit an SUV + tent + tarp + kitchen)It is also a must-visit campsite as you can enjoy different and beautiful scenery in each season. For shopping, you can get local vegetables at the Selva Hakushu Every store, which is a 10-minute drive away, and the adjacent roadside station Kushu, and the recently opened Daiso Ogino-Sutama store is also 20 minutes away. At Ojiro no Yu, where you can get discount tickets at the administration building, you can enjoy the popular Shingen mochi soft serve ice cream. For alcohol lovers, the Yamanashi Meijo sake brewery is famous for its Shichiken sake brewed using Suntory Hakushu Distillery and Hakushu's famous water. For those with a sweet tooth, the Chateraise Hakushu factory and activities are sure to please. (Currently closed due to the new coronavirus)I've been going to Minami Alps Sankeien Auto Campsite for over 10 years, but it's still a pleasant campsite that has never lost its charm.
