A good old self-catering spa. I enjoyed my favorite hot springs slowly. I will visit again ✨

Alternating hot spring water bath and heating bath is the best.

This is probably the closest self-catering hot spring inn to central Tokyo. The inside of the building has a nostalgic atmosphere, which may be a little inconvenient, but there is a shared kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave, making it perfect for long-term stays or overnight stays before or after climbing. The hot spring has a bathtub heated with alkaline simple sulfur cold mineral spring (see wiki) with a spring temperature of 23.8 degrees and a pH of 10.1, as well as a hot spring bath. When you submerge your body in the bathtub, the bathing water had a very nice feeling of slippery feeling. It was a hot spring inn that I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Traditional self-catering hot spring inns are becoming increasingly rare these days. It is a wooden building from the Showa era. It's not unsanitary, but it's definitely a run-down inn, so it's a place people choose. I love this kind of atmosphere. The hot springs are boiling water from simple alkaline springs. I can't really tell because I couldn't find the ingredient list, but it's not a free-flowing product. It may also be disinfected. Still, the hot water is nice and creamy. Originally there seems to be a larger men's bath and a smaller women's bath, but it seems that only the smaller women's bath is actually used. The room is reminiscent of a four-and-a-half-tatami fork room with a Showa-era feel. There are 8 tatami mats, so it's not small. However, the self-catering facilities have the fatal drawback of not providing hot water. It can't be helped because it's an old building, but it's quite difficult to wash dishes when it's cold, and it's impossible to wash dishes properly if you've cooked oily food. I managed to cope by boiling water for washing in a pot.In any case, the fact remains that this is a valuable inn run by an elderly couple.

Is it a building from the 1960s? The construction is old. The quality of the hot springs is good, so I think it's good for hot spring lovers. The parking lot is difficult to find, so it's better to call out and ask for the location.Lockers do not have locks, so it is best not to bring valuables with you.

This is a precious inn in Enzan that is the only one where you can enjoy the exquisite slippery hot springs in a private bath. My favorite hot spring ♨️
