AKIFUMI UENO

5/5
I stayed there with 4 friends in October 2023 and was very satisfied, so this time I invited people from my company and used it as a banquet and accommodation for 9 people at the end of December 2023.Since the entire building is rented out, you can have a good time without having to worry about time limits or worrying about what your neighbors will see when you have a regular banquet, or you can forget about the hustle and bustle and have an extraordinary time. , and the fact that there is an open-air bath and sauna is a must-see for sauna lovers.Of course, there is an indoor bath, but personally, I felt comfortable in the sauna in the inner garden (94 degrees Celsius and can accommodate 4 to 6 people) and the outdoor bath, both in daylight and at night. There was a cold bath with well water and tap water, so I think it would be interesting to try using both. The well water was so cold that I could only dip it up to my waist (lol)I don't think there are many places where you can come in and feel refreshed before or after a party. What's more, it's nice to be able to go in whenever you want without having to worry about being seen.I was a little worried about the cold (end of December 2023) as it is an old private house that was built over 100 years ago, but the interior was clean and comfortable with no unpleasant smells. There were two toilets on the first floor and one on the second floor, so we didn't have to worry about toilet congestion (lol). However, please be careful as the top of the toilet entrance door next to the room on the first floor is quite low. You might be surprised to see the old-fashioned "THE" entrance, but all the restrooms are modern Western-style, so I felt safe using them. There are remnants of an old folk house here and there, so I thought it would be a great place for even kids to get excited. The Uchikawa River, which is rumored to be the Venice of Japan, flows right behind the building, and it seems like it would be nice to see Toyama Bay and take a walk around the area. This is a place I would like to stay with the whole family.Overall, it had the atmosphere of an old private house, and it was a 5-star place for us who wanted to forget the hustle and bustle and spend time without worrying about being seen. I recommend it to those who are thinking of using it with their families or groups of friends. It might be a good idea to use this as a base when traveling and try out various things. As for the service, we had a self-service banquet and didn't have any problems or felt any inconvenience, but I thought that tastes were different, so I gave it 4 stars.Regarding the location, the parking lot has enough space to park about 10 cars, but it is in an old townscape and the roads are narrow, so I don't think it will be a problem for a large Alphard or Hiace, but it is a little narrow for a microbus etc. I thought so, so I gave it 4 stars.I am posting this in the hope that it will be helpful to everyone.
