My daughter loves Greenpia Onuma, and for the past three years we have been going there two or three times a year, including day trips and overnight stays.I usually stay at a hotel when I spend the night, but three years ago in October, I stayed at Kevin's for one night, and yesterday I visited a cottage next to Kevin with the intention of staying the night. This time, I wanted to have a night grilled meat and observe a comet outside the cottage.I checked in at the hotel's front desk a little before 5 p.m., and the front desk clerk said, ``There are a lot of stink bugs this time of year, so there is duct tape in your room (cottage). If there is one, please take it there.'' I agreed and headed to the cottage, thinking it was a place with a lot of nature. However, I was surprised when I arrived.First of all, there were over 40 dead stink bugs, ladybugs, grasshoppers, etc. lying all over the room, and my daughter was unable to move.I managed to get my daughter to sit on the couch in the room where there were no dead bugs, and I looked for duct tape to collect the dead bugs, but I couldn't find them anywhere. When I called the front desk, they delivered a spray-type insecticide along with duct tape, and I sprayed the insecticide on insects that moved their legs or were still alive when I tried to pick them up, and when they stopped moving, I picked them up with duct tape. My husband and I continued to dispose of them for about 30 minutes (we got 100 of them, but we still couldn't finish). Then, my daughter, who was sick from the spray, started vomiting, and then I started vomiting as well, so I called the front desk again and told them that I would like to move to the hotel if a room was available. We were very grateful that a room was prepared for us without any difference in price, and they said that they would keep the raw meat and vegetables we brought for yakiniku until we checked out, but it would take a long time to get to our house after checking out. I disposed of the raw meat I received after returning home.It was the low season, so no one stayed for a while after the last guest, so maybe the dead bodies accumulated during that time? I asked at the front desk, but was told that they had cleaned the room before we checked in that day, but due to the timing, it would end up being full of insects. However, when collecting carcasses, some insects become so dry that their legs come off when you touch them with duct tape, and some insects move only a little when you touch them. I couldn't believe how many dead insects there were. There were only three bugs in the room that were alive and actively flying around, and when I stayed at Kevin's nearby three years ago at the same time, I don't remember any dead bugs lying around.Above all, if there is really cleaning on the day of check-in and there are this many dead bodies, and if the guests have to pick them up, I think they should inform them at the time of reservation. If we had asked in advance, we would definitely have stayed at the hotel from the beginning. For those who are planning to stay at this cottage during the off-season, I have included a photo of the interior. All photos were taken of insects that had fallen in different places inside the cottage, so the numbers are not exaggerated due to duplication. There weren't many in the Japanese-style room (?) in the back, but there were many others in the living room, kitchen, toilet, washroom, and entrance. When staying here, we strongly recommend staying at a hotel outside of the busy season.~supplement~We have come many times and have always felt that the staff do their best to provide hospitality even with a small number of people, so we have not had any major complaints and have enjoyed our stay every time we have come. I was there.Honestly, this time I got a 1 star for the cottage (I gave it a 2 star after taking into account the fact that I was moved to a hotel), but I usually give it a 4 star when I stay at a hotel.

There is no information on the official website regarding non-smoking/smoking in the cottage, but Rakuten lists it as a smoking room.If you are concerned about the smell of cigarettes in the room, I think it would be best to avoid it.OthersIt was said that it would be renovated in August, but the room information I saw said that the cottage was equipped with a Goemon bath, but it seems that it was removed after the renovation and no longer exists. If the smoking/non-smoking information and the information about the attached bath are incorrect, the room is completely different from the one you originally reserved.I am sorry that the room information, which is important since you are paying for your stay, was incorrect. I don't think it will work. There will be no second use.By the way, the breakfast buffet only has about 30 items, and the taste is far inferior to many hotels in Hakodate that sell breakfast buffets.I don't know what kind of salmon roe it is, but it is not the autumn salmon roe that Hokkaido people know. The interior of the cottage is not bad, and if I had known the correct information when making the reservation, I don't think I would have had any complaints other than breakfast, so in my case, there was a problem with the room information, which is really disappointing. It was a great trip.

I stayed for 2 nights. It was a very enjoyable hotel. The food and hot springs were both very good. There is a pool and rides, so both children and adults can have fun.At Dada Bath, there are many day-trip regulars who have to reserve space for the women's washing area and the sauna, and they have luggage even though they are not using it. Many people were waiting because they couldn't wash their bodies. In the sauna, it is bad manners to set up a mat and take up space. It was okay for one night, so it may depend on the day. If you don't have that, saunas and hot springs are great.
