The new Fairfield located in Minamifurano, about 30 minutes drive from central Furano. Nice clean aesthetic. No restaurant on site, but kitchen facilities downstairs and a partnership a local cafe so you can order in food.

1. The hotel is a small and cozy one. Similar to other Fairfield hotels we have stayed and experienced. Similar in design too.The hotel is very simply decorated but classy. We loved the minimalist style. Lots of wood or wood lookalike, including the table clock.There is coffee sachets and tea bags in the rooms. However, there is a nice proper coffee machine for all guests to use in the common area in the hotel lobby. Quiet and private.The staff are friendly and helpful. They look a bit under staffed though.The counter staff was helpful and pointed out to us a few places to eat our dinner.The car park is good size with some spare lots when we were there.2. The location is easy to find. It is just next to a main road. The sound proofing of the rooms are good and we were not disturbed by any sound at night.However this area seems to be developing town and many amenities are still in the making when we visited. It might look very different in a few years.The drive to Furano is simple and easy. Day light is shorter in autumn when we visited and night driving with fog is not so easy. Just have to drive slowly and carefully.3. Price wise, we are happy with the rate we paid.

I used this hotel at the end of my Hokkaido touring trip, and it was a very convenient location that lived up to the hotel's concept.There is also a covered bicycle parking area for touring and cycling travelers, which is very useful.It was a hotel that I would like to return to again.

I stayed for two nights with great scenery and nice air, and it was a sunny day with Tomamu and Karikachi Pass nearby, so it was a perfect day for touring.The room felt small, but I was able to relax and drink coffee (free) while admiring the view on the terrace on the first floor.The hotel staff were all friendly and very nice.There was a Svalbard cafe in the roadside station across the street, and I ate delicious seafood while drinking Japanese sake. Next time I plan to stay for 2 nights and relax.
