The hotel's hot springs are open for day use from 11:00 to 16:30.This time I will not be staying overnight, but only using the hot springs.I paid the fee at the day-use bath counter, put my valuables in the valuables locker (the changing room is just a basket), and headed to the underground hot springs. It's not that big and it's not new, but it's spacious and has about 10 washing areas. In addition to regular shampoos, conditioners, and body soaps, we also have horse oil shampoos and body soaps, and horse oil will make your hair smoother. The open-air bath is a beautiful Maki bath, and unlike the indoor bath, it is new and has a really nice view. The changing area is fully stocked with amenities, including hair dryers, tissues, and hand soap, as well as several types of lotions and emulsions, which also serve as samples of products available at the store. It's also nice to be able to drink cold water from the water jug.Parking is located across the street in front of the hotel.Visit in October 2024

The meals are prepared by the same chef who served lunch to Her Majesty the Empress. Therefore, each item looks beautiful and is delicious! The room was spacious and quiet, with no voices heard from neighboring rooms. However, in recent years, it has deteriorated rapidly. The quality of food deteriorates. Service decline during birth month. Early check-out time. Significant reduction in route bus services, etc.The service provided by the employees is very good, but the hardware aspect seems to be lacking.

Part 3 of the hot spring series that I have been to but have never been to.This time it's Roadside Station Hotel Sugi no Yu! You can even take a day trip to the Yumori Onsen Hotel Suginoyusan Onsen Accommodation, which also operates a roadside station! Note: There are no lockers in the changing room, so please put your valuables in the locker next to the front desk on the 1st floor before going to the bathing facility on the 1st basement floor! The quality of the spring water is not that great, but there is only a rather small indoor bath and an open-air bath, but the open-air bath here is on a covered deck and the bathtub is made of a wooden tub! The location is good and comfortable, but it's a bit cramped with a capacity that accommodates 4 people! However, it doesn't seem to be that crowded! You can eat at Restaurant Yamabuki on the front left (roadside station side) once you go outside! I got the mixed fries set meal for 1500 yen and it was quite delicious! You can also eat soba and udon at the roadside station, so if you want to get it cheaper then go for it, but I've never eaten it so I don't know how it tastes lol*Day trip bathing11:00 - 17:30 (Reception until 16:30)Adults (junior high school students and above) 800 yenChildren (3 years old and older) 400 yenClosed every WednesdayIndoor bath, open-air bath, shampoo and body soap available, free parking, souvenir sales, smoking area, accommodation facilities, etc.*Restaurant YamabukiLast order from 11:00 to 14:00Closed every Wednesday*Roadside station9:00-17:00Provide take-out meals such as udon and soba noodles, restrooms, vending machines, souvenir sales, etc.No holidays

The food was delicious, both the soup stock and the seasoning of the ingredients were delicious, and I could feel the skill of the chef. There are places to go out during the day, but at night there is nothing around or inside the hotel.

As for the hot springs, the men's and women's baths have been swapped, and the one on the right that I entered the second time was warmer and I could feel the source properly. In the hot spring on the left at the beginning, the open-air bath was lukewarm and bugs were floating around... I couldn't relax because the horseflies that were in the indoor hot spring were attracted to me. Lol Also, the moment I got out of the hot springs, the hotel phone rang, so I picked it up.I don't know if he was an employee, but it was from a man I didn't know at all, and it made me feel sick. The rice was very delicious! !

My husband and I stayed here only one night, but I wish it could have been much longer! The kaiseki was delicious, the view lovely, and the staff members were incredibly friendly. When we asked about the location where they catch the ayu (sweetfish) they serve, there was some hurried conversation, and a manager soon returned to present us with a detailed printed map and explanation. For me, this summed up the genuine warmth and hospitality we experienced here. Also, the location is excellent--right by several shops, the Michi no Eki, and the town office, which can help with questions and advice on local programs. Well worth the trip deeper into the mountains!

I went there for a day bath. I enjoyed seeing the dam from the open-air bath. I couldn't see it at all, but I was alone looking at the mountains. Hot springs were flowing from the gutter. There was hair and trash floating in the tub, so I threw it away several times and thought it was clean, but after a few minutes, hair and trash came out again, and the hot spring flowing from the wooden gutter was probably not a new hot spring, but hot spring coming from another bath. I felt sick and left immediately. I will never go there again.
