I'm sure it's a very cold place in the winter, but it's really small and the surrounding scenery is calming and relaxing. The food was also delicious. I thought to myself, ``I want to live there'' with an acquaintance.

I've been curious about this since before the coronavirus pandemic. I was finally able to stay at this SW. It is located in a quiet countryside, adjacent to the art village, and has a great environment. The facility is a half-double story building with fewer than 30 guest rooms, making it relaxing. The hot springs have a view of Mt. Asama in the distance, and the quality of the hot springs is also satisfactory. The food was also satisfying. The quality of the staff is also good. It's inconvenient if you don't have a car.

It was my first time using it.It's not near a station, so it doesn't have that kind of convenience, but it's in a peaceful area in Satoyama, and there was no surrounding noise. The cuisine is creative kaiseki cuisine, and the local Koshihikari rice is exquisite. We also have local sake and beer, so drinkers will be satisfied.Although the bath is not a large public bath, it can be reserved for private use depending on the time of day, so you can enjoy it to your heart's content. At night, if the weather is good, you will be enchanted by the starry sky.I stayed here for several nights and was very satisfied with the stay. I would like to stay again.

The rice was very delicious. The rooms were clean and the baths were not crowded and I had a relaxing time.It can't be helped because it's seasonal, but there were bees flying in the open-air bath and it was a bit scary (lol)

The food is delicious. All have a very gentle taste. There was a lot to choose from, including steamed pot steamed rice, steamed Japanese warbler bean paste, azuki greens tempura, and miso-flavored Hida beef hotpot, all of which left me pretty full. The pressed conger eel sushi was fluffy and my companion, who can't eat firefly squid or rice octopus, was happy to be able to finish it for the first time. The miso in the Hida beef hotpot was so delicious that I added rice at the end. The cherry blossom mousse is full of cherry blossom scent and makes me happy. The atmosphere in the courtyard is very nice, and it's great when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The hot spring is close to Gero, and has a simmering hot spring.
