The facility is cleaner and cleaner than expected. There are ants in the room, but it can't be helped. The sink and toilet are outside the room, which is a blessing. The food was plain and simple, but it was delicious, perhaps because we were surrounded by nature.

Accommodation in Yanbaru National Park. According to the staff, it seems to be a semi-governmental, semi-private facility.I couldn't reserve a twin room, and when I booked a room for 8 people, I was told that the room didn't have a toilet or bathroom. Depending on your cycle, this can be very difficult for women, so we strongly recommend that you book a twin if possible. My companion was in a lot of trouble, so I would like this to be improved by providing a private shower room.As mentioned in other reviews, the water pressure in the shower is too weak. If it is water, it will come out well, but if it is hot water, it will only come out slowly. Is it because it's on top of a mountain? ? When we stayed there, the amount of hot water in the public bath was quite small, and the depth was only about halfway up an adult's calf. The water in the Goemon bath was quite lukewarm, so I couldn't stay there for long at all. There were no restaurants nearby, so I made a reservation at a restaurant. The meals are so voluminous that even adults can't finish them all. There was quite a lot for the children, so I ended up leaving more than half of it, although it was a shame. The taste was like a typical public dormitory cafeteria, which is a shame.Apply for an evening guided tour and explore Yanbaru Forest. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the Yanbaru rail, but it was a very fun tour.As others have written, there were a lot of ants in the room. I wonder if the twin room is a little better... The reason why I gave it 4 stars even after criticizing it so harshly is because of its location in the great outdoors, which more than makes up for its shortcomings. At night, if it's clear, you can see the stars clearly and it's a spectacular view.I would like to go again, but next time I will definitely go on a day when I can reserve a twin room.

I was worried because of the heavy rain the day before, but on the day I had no worries and was able to enjoy my long-awaited trekking with a tour guide. The mountain paths and boards are wet and slippery, so proceed with caution. The river had risen a bit due to the rain the day before, so we had to walk on some stepping stones in the water, but it was still fun. There is a waterfall in an unexplored area!Even more beautiful with the rising water. We recommend non-slip, waterproof trekking shoes. We also encountered an endemic species of wart. After the tour, there was a rare moth (which I don't really like) in the bathroom, so I took a photo of it, and when I got home, I looked into it and found out that it's a rare moth that only exists in Amami Oshima and Okinawa in Japan. Also, the drink I bought at a roadside station along the way was called karaki tea, which is apparently called karaki, a member of the cinnamon family that grows wild in the Yanbaru forest.I also noticed this after returning home 💦I definitely want to find and smell this one next time.I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it tastes.I want to visit again and again to see the fireflies, stars, flora and fauna. It was Yanbaru Forest that I would like to visit again and again.thank you very much.

This looks like a nice place to camp, with a few bungalows onsite too. There's a informative room which is rather small that shows some information of the wildlife in the area. There's a nice hill which if you went up, you will be able to see a really nice stretch of forests view!

Used by family for one night, no dinner, breakfast includedIf you don't have dinner, there are no places to buy it nearby, so you'll need to prepare in Nago or elsewhere. The speed limit on the surrounding roads is 30km/h to prevent animals such as the Yanbaru rail from being killed by cars, but the Yanbaru rail is fast, so even 30km/h is probably faster.Be careful of roadkill.Although it is only 2 and a half hours away from Naha by highway, you can experience nature that is not found in resorts. I think it's worth the time. Of course, that was the purpose. The room is exactly like a training camp, with 4 bunk beds and up to 8 people can stay in one room. There is no bathroom/toilet in the room. There's no TV either. There is no washroom eitherAll are common areas. I think this is the default for accommodations like a boy's house or a nature house.WiFi is available and fast.Since there are only a few staff members, it may be difficult to respond in detail, but they do respond in a friendly manner. If you ask them about animals, they will tell you many things. There are two hiking trails that guests can use for free.It was summer and the humidity was high, so it was tough, but animals seem to like high humidity, so I was able to meet a variety of animals. It's perfect for people who are looking for that kind of thing. There is a Yona course and a Yamashi-shikoshi course, but if you have the stamina, we recommend the Yamashi-shikoshi course. Yamashishi Course is a course adjacent to athletics that is only a few minutes by car.Athletics was prohibited to use, perhaps because of the typhoon or because it was old.If you go to a place without street lights at night, you can see the Milky Way even in summer if it's clear.
