Used solo on Saturday. In conclusion, the main thing is the bungalow. It's good for people who use it, but people who live in tents feel it's inconvenient and unsatisfactory. The site is also small. The tents are set up between bungalows, so there is no sense of nature, and the people living in the bungalows walk right in front of you. There are only a few toilets, and the number of toilets is reduced further because the facilities are locked at night, whether you go up or down. I can't say that the scenery is very good either. Many people don't follow the rules when taking a bath, just using warm spring water. There are young people working as store clerks and I want to support them, but the video and explanation sheet are also wrong, and the attitude of some of them is disappointing.

A facility located in the mountains in Minamimaki Village, which is famous for being a marginal village. This is a campsite surrounded by nature. Since the altitude is 1,000 meters, the temperature is 10 degrees Celsius lower than in the flatlands. This time we used a cottage, but since it is not on flat ground but on a steep slope, there are not many places to light a bonfire. The inside of the cottage is kept fairly clean, but the cleaning is rough. It was quite difficult to move up the slope with our luggage as we could not drive close to the cottage. I was grateful for the large public bath that uses spring water, but the water was not very clean as it was late (until 9pm).Before using the service, an explanatory video summarizing how to use the service and etiquette is shown, but there were some customers who actually ignored it. Although we were asked to be quiet after 9:00 p.m., there were several groups who were talking loudly outside until midnight (nearly 0:00 p.m.), and the loud voices echoed around us in a quiet environment, which made us feel like a nuisance. If I remember that, I don't think I'll use it again.

The room, bed, and toilet are clean. My wife is very noisy in that area, so this was a great help.No matter where we go, my wife complains about the many insects and the smoke, but it's clean and there aren't many monks, so we had a fun camping experience. thank you.

Highly rated comments are unreliable. The reality is what is written in the low rating comments. Insects are really bad, and even though the cottage is expensive, there are ticks. There is no reason to choose this place as the access to supermarkets etc. is also poor. Also, the cottage is full of dead insects and feels disgusting, probably due to poor management.

Don't be fooled by high reviews. Really the worst. In particular, do not stay in bungalow cottages. I get bitten by a tick.

I noticed that the sites where you can apply for Nap and the official website are different. The site was just in the woods, and the scenery wasn't great, so I was disappointed. If the campsite claims to be the furthest from the sea in Japan, I would like them to make an effort to improve the view from the site. Also, the family is too noisy...

The closest campground to the "farthest point from the coastline in Japan." This sparked my interest, so I made a reservation in advance and visited during Golden Week. 3 nights in a bungalow for 4 people. It is located close to Ogami Pass, the border with Nagano Prefecture, and is over 1000 meters above sea level, with no human habitation nearby. It depends on the number of guests at the time, but generally it is a very quiet, comfortable campsite with a great view. Thanks to this, I heard the sound of a woodpecker for the first time. The bungalows come with bedding and flush toilets. There are also electrical outlets. There is a wooden table and chairs next to the bungalow, so you don't have to bring your own. In addition to showers, there is also a large public bath in one corner of the campsite. Thanks to this, some of the hassles associated with camping are eliminated, and you can spend your time relaxing while admiring the scenery of the mountains and the starry sky.The large public bath is good, but we recommend Hoshio Onsen, which is a 20-minute drive away. It's a hidden hot spring with flowing water, and the surrounding Hoshio village is also worth a stroll. For shopping, it is faster to go over the mountain pass to the Nagano Prefecture side than to go down to Shimonita.

The facilities were clean and there was a bath, which was charged, but I enjoyed it. The starry sky at night was especially beautiful💫, and I was impressed as it looked like a planetarium.

Points to note:1) There's nothing there, so it's better to go shopping after exiting the expressway.2) It is better to take measures against insects.3) There is no hot water in the washing area.4) The toilets are new, but there aren't many. Moreover, since men and women are not clearly separated, women may find it a little awkward.5) It's better not to have high expectations for the bath. It was quite old.6) We used tent camping, but it was on mud.7) There are a lot of people during Golden Week, so the baths and toilets will be crowded. The toilet wasn't cleaned very well either. There may be a shortage of people, but it would be better to do something about it during Golden Week.8) I didn't explain things properly, so some people didn't read the rules, so it was noisy. There are no loud conversations while listening to music at 10pm.
