You can enjoy nature!I'm glad I was able to take my small children with me without worrying.The cottage felt a little small, but it was cheap, so I was satisfied.Toys are also available for rent at the administration building.We had a barbecue in the evening, but there is a roof so you don't have to worry about the weather.If you need anything, you can borrow it for free, including cooking utensils!Especially recommended is grass sledding.The children never got tired of it and had fun while getting drenched in sweat.There was play equipment such as a slide, but since it was in the mountains, it was full of spider webs so we couldn't use it.However, you can have fun by crossing the suspension bridge (there is a fee, 100 yen per person), chasing dragonflies, taking a break and eating soft serve ice cream.

Use the cafe.There were few users even though it was a holiday, probably because it was a low season.Be careful as the road along the way is narrow.

Early November. The autumn leaves are about 30%. There was a cloth deodorant spray in the room, which I used on my clothes after the barbecue. The starry sky at night was more beautiful than I expected. The breakfast buffet didn't have a lot of variety, but it was a good selection and the onion soup was especially delicious. I enjoyed the grass slide repeatedly at a good speed. When it was crowded, we made concessions and interacted with each other.For the barbecue, our family of 4 decided to bring in their own set of ingredients for 2 people. There was a large amount of meat in the ingredients set. The boar pork at the roadside station is tender and recommended. (There was no place in Ueno Village that sold large marshmallows.)You can get a discount coupon of 300 yen per person for Shioji no Yu. The hot water made my skin feel smooth.We rented a popular card game and got together as a family. Junior high school students can also enjoy it.Although it was a three-day weekend, it was not crowded and I had a comfortable time. It was a place where you could feel that they had what they needed without excessive services.

The grounds are large and you can have a BBQ even if it rains.There are about 10 cottages, and although they are not large, they are clean and comfortable.There is no TV, but the facility is located on a fairly high mountain, so you can enjoy the night sky and nature from your balcony.The staff were also very kind and courteous.For breakfast, you can have free refills of bread, soup, sausage, bacon, fruit, etc. at the nearby Mahoba Cafe. (Dinner & breakfast plan)There are also things for children to play on the premises, and you can walk to the suspension bridge and the largest limestone cave in Kanto, so it's quite fun.
