A quiet inn in the mountains of ShiramineNo hustle and bustle, all you can hear is the sounds of natureA perfect inn for a relaxing stayThe bath is reserved for private use, so you can take your time and enjoy the view from the window. The hot water is so smooth that you can take a long bath. The dishes are carefully prepared using local ingredients, and each dish is enjoyable and delicious.Gibier not only brings out the flavor, but also has a natural texture. The vegetables, meat, soup stock, and condiments all come together well, allowing you to enjoy the food while taking your time and savoring it.Although the inn is run by a couple, the service is thorough and the spirit of hospitality is felt throughout. If you want to soothe your tired mind, this is the place to go.An inn you'll want to visit again when the seasons change and the ingredients change.

We spent two very special days in Hakusan Furari. The owners were very kind and thoughtful. The food was very special, and we were grateful that the owners accommodated to some of our dietary needs. We recommend this place to all who are in need of some restorative and calm time within lush and green mountains.

This was the most magical place to stay. The scenery surrounding is stunning, and the inn is beautiful and kept immaculately clean. Our hosts were so kind and talented; they served us one of the most memorable meals of our lives! Delicious mountain cuisine cooked on the hearth. The private onsen is also relaxing and beautiful. We are so grateful for this experience! We will dream of it!

Visited in November 2023.A wonderful Japanese inn. There are only 3 rooms, a full course of mountain cuisine for dinner, and a Japanese breakfast in the morning to satisfy your body and soul. You can enjoy plenty of mountain delicacies such as mushrooms, hard tofu, wild vegetables, yamame (yamame beans), yams, and wild boar. The bath is made of cypress and has a nice scent, making the room relaxing. I will come again. A wonderful husband and wife will take care of you♪

The host and his wife were very kind and gave us a very pleasant reception. The dishes are carefully prepared using only hearty ingredients, mainly from the mountains. It was delicious. The breakfast was also delicious and had a good amount. The rice (rice) was delicious. The wife loves to talk, so I was able to ask her about various things, and we had a great time m(_ _)m

Every time, I am soothed by the warm hospitality of the host couple. The food is of a very high standard, with plenty of mountain and local ingredients incorporated into the menu, and I'm always impressed every time I go (it's a Japanese auberge). The large bath is also available for private use, and it is so comfortable that you will want to take a bath over and over again. There are many scenic spots in the area, and I think it would be a good idea to take a day trip to the hot springs such as Hakusan Hime Shrine, Watagataki Falls, and Chugu Onsen, or visit Yamaboshi's large-sized pottery. I can recommend it to everyone.
