An old Ryukyu house surrounded by rich Fukugi trees that retains the vestiges of a bygone era.As soon as I arrived, I fell in love with its appearance, which evoked a sense of nostalgia at first sight.The interior has been beautifully renovated and has a completely modern feel.Even though it's a renovation, I imagine it's probably more like a rebuild.The space retains a sense of antiquity but still maintains modern ease of living, making it very comfortable.The furniture in each room had a good taste, and it was fun just walking around the room, looking at all the different things...Of course, what you can see through the glass windows is the deep green Fukugi trees.The deep eaves are built to protect the house and people from the strong Okinawan sunlight, making the interior just the right amount of darkness.Outside, you can see the vividly illuminated, lush nature.It is said that Okinawans don't go outside during the day in summer, but I wondered for a while as I looked out over the Amahaj and wondered if people in the past also spent their harsh summers like this.(However, there were some areas that were not well maintained, such as the corners of the bed and above the lights, so it would be great if they could be cleaned a little more.)

Simple barbecue ingredients could also be purchased at a supermarket near Sabanggi.■ Things prepared at the accommodationThere was everything I needed.I thought I needed a power strip, but when I opened the drawer, there was a power strip.There was plenty of dishware and towels, as well as a washing machine and dryer outside.We even have a cooler and slippers to take with you when you go to the nearby beach.I felt like every detail was taken into consideration.■ CleanlinessIt was very clean.I've been mainly to old houses in Okinawa in recent years, and this place was the cleanest. Due to the nature of old houses, there are many bugs and there are inevitable signs of age between the cracks in the trees, but the interior has been renovated and is clean (there are bugs on the outside).■ BBQThe BBQ was an electric type. It may be disappointing for those who prefer charcoal, but personally, I am satisfied because it is easy to eat and clean up.The size is not large, so it might be a bit small if several people go.Rather than a disadvantage... things you must know...There are a lot of bugs.It is a space surrounded by trees and the yard is full of grass.There are a lot of mosquitoes. There are so many mosquitoes... you have to be careful.If you are coming with babies, be sure to spray the repellent spray before getting out of the car.You must take a deep breath, open the door connecting the yard and the room in one second, enter, and then close the door immediately. If you leave the door open and carry luggage, all the mosquitoes will come into the room.There are plenty of mosquito repellent incense, mosquito repellent spray, electric mosquito incense, etc. in the accommodation. There is no need to bring it separately, but if you are prone to mosquito bites, it would be a good idea to prepare repellent spray and spray it before getting out of the car.+There are also lizards.They are cute little lizards.However, if you don't expect it, you may be surprised, so you may see a lizard. I stayed here for 2 nights with my child.It was a very quiet environment, I slept to the sound of rain hitting the tiled roof, and in the morning I was visited by goats, and I was able to experience life that is unique to Nakijin.The old folk house has also been beautifully renovated, with an interior that allows you to enjoy the combination of the outside scenery and the inside, and a tasteful room design that makes it possible for the family to enjoy staying in the old folk house. It has been tastefully renovated and we had a comfortable stay. Although the weather was bad, it was nice to relax while listening to the sound of the rain. I also enjoyed some of the books in the collection.You can buy groceries at the nearby A-Corp, but I took my car out to Nago to find a good selection. It's convenient because they have all the cooking utensils.
