I used it for a day bath on the way back from climbing Mt. Kinpu. (If Masutomi's radium hot springs are closed, this is the only place you can take a bath if you descend from Kinmine to Kobushin to Kawakami Village.)The usage fee is reasonable at 500 yen per person, but there are no amenities such as body soap or shampoo in the bath, so you have to bring your own or buy a bag for 20 yen each at the front desk. There are no hair dryers provided either, so you have to either borrow one from the front desk or bring your own and pay the 100 yen electricity bill to plug it into an outlet. The hot water is sourced from the abundant water of the Kinpusen River, and is available only in indoor baths. There was a bathtub with a temperature of just 42 degrees, and a warmer bathtub (filled with water) about a third of the size of the bathtub, and there was also a washing area for 7 to 8 people. Because chlorine tablets for disinfection were placed directly in the bathtub, the smell of chlorine still permeated my body even after I got out of the bath. Also, there are only shelves in the changing room, and there are no lockers with keys, so we do not recommend bringing valuables with you.Since the main users are guests staying at mountain lodges and campgrounds, there is only a bench in the hallway where you can take a break after taking a bath. The only product in the vending machine next to the front desk was alcohol. Other than the convenience of being able to take a bath immediately after descending the mountain, I didn't feel satisfied with the facility as a day trip bathing facility.

A mountain lodge run by Kawakami Village. The name is ``Mountain Lodge'', but I thought it was a mountain hut.It is closed during the winter. It's a great place in the summer, but it's hard to get a reservation during the season!
