The building and rooms have an old-fashioned feel, but they are kept well-maintained.Also, there was an air conditioner in each room, which was very nice since I don't like air conditioning throughout the building. There is no breakfast, so you will only be staying without meals, but there is a convenience store nearby, so you won't have any problems for business use.By the way, there is a cup noodle vending machine. No laundry facilities. What was particularly good about the customer service was that they called us in advance to give us parking information, and when we arrived at the parking lot, the staff came out and guided us, and they were very polite. Also, during my stay, I had a dedicated section of the parking lot, so I didn't have to worry about other guests taking up space while I was out, so I felt very safe. The color cones used to reserve space have a paper with the reservation name pasted on them (and are even laminated). The facilities are a step down compared to recent hotels, but the customer service was among the best among those I've stayed at recently, so it was great.

I didn't have high expectations at first, but considering the facilities and services and the price, I'm satisfied with the hotel.

I stayed there during the Obon period. For consecutive nights, cleaning will be done every other day, but new bath towels, face towels, and toothbrushes will be prepared in front of your room every day. There was a system where towels and unnecessary trash used the day before were left in the hallway (in front of the door).I couldn't find a hotel in Karuizawa, so I searched a lot and booked this hotel.I went back and forth every day during my stay, but it wasn't too difficult as it was only 40-50 minutes away. The room is spacious enough and the bed is spacious. The building itself felt a little old in some respects, but overall it was well-maintained and I had a comfortable stay. One thing I felt disappointed about was the lack of amenities. There is no face wash or cleansing agent, so women should remember to bring their own.(There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so you can also buy them there.)This time I stayed without meals, but there were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so I was able to enjoy a different type of dinner every day.The parking lot was also secured with colored cones, so you could go out with peace of mind. Also, the employees were polite and everyone left a good impression. It was a reasonable price, but I think it was worth more than that.I will use it again when I go nearby.

Use a deluxe single room. The bed size is large enough for you to sleep comfortably. The air conditioner works well and starts working immediately after starting. The bathroom is also spacious enough for a hotel in this price range. It's nice to have hand washing soap that comes out as foam. Rinse-in shampoo is also good, it's from a good brand and doesn't have a strange smell. Although it took a while for the hot water to come out and there was no single faucet, it was easy to adjust the temperature of the shower. It is true that the step in front of the elevator on the 1st floor is a formidable enemy when you have a lot of luggage. But the coolness inside the elevator is nice during the summer. Also, the room numbers were stylish but a little hard to read.

I was in a back room, but the Wi-Fi signal was weak and unusable, so I used my own pocket Wi-Fi.

This is my second time using it.There aren't many hotels in this area, and the bathrooms are small and the air conditioner filters aren't cleaned, so I have a house dust allergy, so I keep sneezing lol.Shampoo-in-rinse is the way to go these days lolPlease at least make them separate and reasonably good. It's dangerous because there are steps from the reception to the elevator. It's helpful that the parking lot is free.

I like that the mirror in the room is large and the TV remote control is wrapped in plastic (probably needs to be replaced every time). The parking lot in front of the hotel is small and full, so you have to park far away, which is a bit difficult if you have large luggage.

As of 2023/12No deodorizing spray or public bath.Stay overnight only.Welcome drink included. (drink bar)There is a humidifying air purifier. The shower in the indoor bath can only be turned on while running cold or hot water. The corner room with windows on two sides gets very cold and heating is difficult. The lighting in the room is low and dim.
