Mesm - stunning hotel, incompetent staff of young folks in need of training. When I arrived at the hotel with 3 luggages, a man in his late 30s/40s greeted me but did not offer to help me with bags. I asked him to help me. He could barely speak any English but we managed- I was leaving the bags and would check in later. He said the bags would be delivered to my room but refused to give me a luggage tag receipt and kept saying No. He could not speak enough English to explain why I could not get a luggage tag receipt. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never encountered this before. Confused, I proceeded to the 16th floor and a lovely young gal cheerfully greeted me and after my question, promptly retrieved a luggage tag receipt. All was well until I checked in the hotel in the evening after 8 pm. My bags were not delivered to my room and another young pop punk style girl (strange for a 5 star hotel) at the desk retrieved my bags after I handed the receipt luggage tag, rolled out the 3 bags, said « your bags are here » indicating I should take them up. For a 5 star hotel, there is no assistance with bags?!As others stated, they do not care about Marriott status, refused our redemption for upgraded room, and gave no upgrade. But even the basic chapter 1 room is amazing; everything is new (hotel is relatively new), the bath is an added bonus, the Toto toilet is fab with its own separate nook, the layout is great and spacious, sheets lovely, top quality chosen for every item in the hotel, bed is comfortable, and they even provide fine china cups! I do wish they would provide a water bottle purification refill for guests in a public area as many hotels have in Usa.Breakfast was very good and had lots of selection. From a ramen station, a bit of sashimi, to western choices. They had a snow crab omelette with organic eggs. But wish they had better choice of tea instead of Brew Tea. The other Marriott had Twg which was much better.Overall, it’s a stunning hotel inside and a lovely place to stay. But the caveat I found is that the native staff cannot speak and understand English very well. They have not hired any foreign workers at the front desk or dining room (that I could see) and if you have any issues, it becomes taxing trying to communicate. Also the young staff are ill trained to work in a 5 star hotel and their horrible uniforms copying Kanye West’s style is ridiculous. No negativity here just honest truth in hopes management will hear.Noise wise there is some noise from the highway and slight noise from trains. There is also a boat horn (long winded sound and loud) during the day. Rooms overlooking the park are quieter. The park is gorgeous to look at; a piece of stunning art from above.Location wise- it’s great for walkers as others said. A 30-35 minute walk to Ginza, which is fine. Can even walk to the fish market! Very convenient!Again, a beautiful hotel!

The bed was soft and very comfortable. The windows were large and the view was nice. For breakfast, I ordered Japanese food and had it brought to my room.It was bland and I didn't like it, but I felt it was a healthy breakfast.

I was treated to lunch. As expected, Mesm Tokyo was more luxurious than any other hotel I've ever been to. As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a pleasant aroma and a quiet, sparkling space. It's a completely different world inside and outside the mesm. The front desk is on the 16th floor.I didn't see anyone until I got to the front desk. The view from the restaurant Chef's Theater is also wonderful, and you can also see Hamarikyu Gardens below. There was live piano music.I was also shown the guest rooms. It was a gorgeous room with a big bed and even an electric piano.Tokyo Bay spreads out.Mesm Tokyo was a wonderful hotel that felt like it was in another world. It's about a 3-minute walk from Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome Line.

One of my favorite hotel in Tokyo. Yes the location is not within walking distance to Ginza or Tsukiji. It's also slightly far to walk to the subway station. But the rooms, service and amenities greatly make up for it. The only small downside is that the body towels provided were a tad bit too short. Other than that will definitely be back!

We exhibited and held a dinner party in a private room at this restaurant. Although it was from dusk to nightfall, the scenery was very luxurious and the client was very satisfied and it was a success. The hospitality of the employees was wonderful, and the food was very good with a variety of comprehensive menus. It was a food and wine pairing, and we were able to choose something that went well together, which was wonderful.(There was one non-alcoholic person, but I was grateful that everyone was treated in the same way as regular wine.)We look forward to using you again next time.thank you very much.

We went to a restaurant. The view of the entire Hamarikyu neighborhood next door is breathtaking! The dishes and tableware were very elaborate and modern, and very stylish. Many of the staff members were young, but they all had a good sense of distance and I felt relaxed. It's reasonably close to Takebashi, so I went to Hamamatsucho on the way home, and there were new commercial facilities on the way to the station, so it was fun to walk around.

I stayed there a while ago. Thank you for the upgrade. The view towards Hamarikyu was amazing. The room was also spacious and clean. There is an electronic piano that can also be used as a speaker. You can take the JR Takeshiba hydrogen shuttle bus (I think it's free) from the Marunouchi exit of Tokyo Station to the building where the hotel is located. This is quite convenient. It's quite a walk to JR Hamamatsucho. Takeshiba Passenger Terminal is just a stone's throw away. The location is such that you won't have any trouble taking a morning walk.Lately I can't stay because it's too expensive...Tears
