The view from the inn is great, and you can spend a relaxing time looking out at Lake Biwa.Every year, I visit the Mallard duck plan, which opens in mid-November, and this is the only time I have the chance to eat Mallard duck, so I look forward to it every year (#^^#)I wasn't a fan of carp sushi either, but I was able to eat it at Beniayu and all of the dishes were really delicious. It is also attractive that all rooms have semi-open-air baths.

The food, the rooms, the hot springs, everything is of a very high standard, and the customer service from the staff is also excellent. I want to go again.

I think it falls into the category of a luxury inn, but frankly speaking, the hospitality and facilities are not worth the price. The reception from the middle-aged and elderly front staff is terrible. It was the most rude and unpleasant experience I've ever had at an accommodation of this grade.I couldn't feel the atmosphere of hospitality for the guests, and for some reason they spoke in an overbearing way. The kind of hospitality that makes you want to leave from the moment you check in.Do you treat people with branded clothes, foreign cars, and people who look like they are rich?I felt like I was changing my attitude when I saw people.I get the impression that the staff are better than the guests. The room looks old, unlike the impression I saw in the photos posted on the web. Old but well-maintained and tasteful, not "old".The tips of the soap bottles and cream pumps in the room's bathroom sink are covered in solidified liquid, and the hair conditioner bottles and tissue boxes are covered in dust. I felt that the cleaning was not done properly. In the evening, the western sun shines in strongly, making it very dazzling.I would like the windows on the west side of the dining room and guest rooms to be made with consideration for the current climate, such as UV-cutting film and highly light-blocking blinds.I also noticed the large bees flying around the indoor bath. As mentioned in other reviews, there seems to be a beehive in the tree in front of the inn.I used the public bath for the above reasons, but the water dispenser had something like rust on it and I was reluctant to drink it.The door is poorly constructed and requires some skill to unlock. Each one of them is a small thing, but the lack of maintenance on equipment often adds up to stress.I made this request to the front staff, but they didn't even look me in the eye and said, "I see."Accommodations in this price range always have at least one thing that makes them feel ``as expected.'' There isn't that. I have a lot of patience. It's painful. I want to go home...It was supposed to be a refreshing trip, but instead it felt stressful. The only good thing was the food. All the staff are always there to help you with your meal and provide you with a pleasant service. We are grateful that this stay was not a bad experience for us.The food was also very good, using local, seasonal ingredients.I think this is well received! The view from the inn was also beautiful.

This is my first time making a reservation. Will my friend survive due to excessive bleeding the day before his stay? Will you die? I became ill and was hospitalized in an emergency, so I called to cancel. As per the terms and conditions, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee, and it is normal for you to pay it.At other inns, you can't help it if you get sick! We look forward to seeing you again. They responded politely.I am very grateful to that inn and have made a reservation to visit again...This inn showed no consideration at all, and I wanted to go and check it out once I fully recovered from my illness, but as a result of the phone calls I received, I probably won't be going there again.By the way, I don't want to give even one ☆.

It's a little old and doesn't have a youthful feel, but it has a calm feel probably because there are many regular customers. We also pick you up at the station. …
