The highlight of this inn is, of course, the food! !As shown in the photos of other people, both morning and evening were luxurious and I was very satisfied.moreoverThe bathtub was large enough for a whole family to soak in, so I was able to relax. The room was a simple single room with only a TV, and it reminded me of the guesthouse I stayed at during a training camp when I was in elementary school. There are two concerns,Showers can only be used from 17:00 to 22:00.If there are other customers in the bath, go to the nearby Mine-no-Yu. Day trip hot springs are open until 9pm.Also, I personally tend to take a shower in the morning, so I went to take a quick bath in the Kuma no Yu in the morning. Also, because the building is made of wood, I could hear people talking in the next room. The more you listen, the more you can hear the conversation. This is a problem that the hotel cannot do anything about, so we recommend that you understand this before staying. In any case, if you want to enjoy Rausu's local cuisine, we recommend staying here instead of at a hotel.I would definitely stay here again when I come to Rausu.

I stayed three nights here and it was lovely. I am from Australia and don’t speak much Japanese, but the hosts were very welcoming and it was a great way to practice the language.I paid extra for them to provide breakfast every morning, and it was a great way to start the day. They prepared the bath for me as well. The accommodation is located a bit uphill and the rooms are on the second floor, so I had great views of Kunashiri island and watched the sunrise every morning. The accommodation is also located less than 5 mins walk to the main town area so close by to check out the local restaurants. If you are a foreigner I’d highly recommend this place if you want an authentic Japanese experience! However my Japanese friend had to help make the reservation for me on the phone. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in Rausu. ありがとうございます!

During dinner, my husband, a former fisherman, starts preaching, telling old stories, and boasting about Rausu.

Located in the middle of Rausu, the inside of the inn is also kept clean. Although it's a bit on the top of a hill, you can see the sunrise over Kunashir Island from the second floor. Best of all, the food is amazing. We had a lot of sashimi, including atka mackerel, grilled Chanchan (served with miso), snow crab, and shrimp. The landlady's attentive response was also good.
