2024/10/12 I saw an adult bear while driving near this campsite around 4am in the morning.---postscriptI am not aware of any break-ins, but I witnessed one in the area, so I decided to write this review to alert everyone.Looking at the replies to my message, I felt that the facility did not prioritize customer safety, so I would like to lower the rating.Information about the bear sightings has also been reported to the police.By the way, according to the information on bear sightings in Gunma Prefecture published in "Gunma Prefecture Bear Information", there was also a sighting reported in June 2024 in the same area.

- Easy access as it is right off the expressway.・There is a road right next to it, and cars often pass by.- Washing area and charcoal processing area available.・The toilet is simple.・One area is spacious and you can camp comfortably.・Purchase firewood, charcoal, and nets at the store.・In principle, take all trash home with you.-However, if you purchase designated garbage bags, there is a service that will collect them at 9 a.m. the next day (at this time).

Spacious camp with affordable price compared to other camps near the Tokyo area. Has all of the neccesary ammenities, and a 24 hour shop with most of the stuff you need for camping

My husband and I went out for the first time on the weekend of June 15th and 16th.The weather was good, a bit hot, but the breeze felt pleasant, and we had a great time in the quiet and calm atmosphere.The manager personally came to the site to greet me the next morning, and I think this is a campsite that is full of great care.The kitchen and restrooms were closed in some places, probably due to water shortages, but I didn't feel any inconvenience.However, it was unfortunate that some people left their food waste behind even though they were properly warned about garbage in the kitchen at the time of reception.Even if you clean up at night, there will be other trash the next morning.That's the only thing I was concerned about.

All stars! One of the besttt camping sites 3 hr drive from Tokyo.1. 24 hr shop for essentials, leave the payment in a box when No one is to attend2. Craft beers for emergency and some basic food and other fire and fun essentials3. Free blankets if you are cold4. Lovely dog to play with and cuddle with ( love you Jewel )5. All facilities are clean and maintained6. Host is super friendly and very helpful7. Beautiful greenery and mountains8. River access with 5 min trail.9. I am pretty sure I forgot 20 more cool things

Really nice and cosy camping ground.We hadn't made a reservation, but a nice man came to us and gave us the best service we had has in Japan. He spoke good enough English for us to have a small conversation.The campground had a smell self service store that had everything you need and it was open 24/7.Perfekt location close to the highway and a big outlet mall that my wife loved.Will I come back? Yes, definitely! Next time I'm on camping in Japan I will come back to this place.
