My stay at Country Inn Pewit was truly wonderful. The room was comfortable and quiet, providing a perfect retreat. The owners, a lovely couple, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to communicate with us using translation software, despite the language barrier. The husband is an excellent cook, and we were treated to delicious Chinese-style breakfasts and dinners, with different dishes served each day, adding a delightful variety to our meals. One of the most pleasant surprises was the availability of two private hot springs (onsen) that we could use during our stay, adding to the overall relaxing experience. The inn is located in a residential area, and the hostess was more than happy to offer shuttle services to and from Izu-Kōgen Station, which made our travels much more convenient.Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Izu area.

The owner and his wife are very kind and gentle. The breakfast porridge was very delicious. I was very satisfied because I was able to reserve the open-air bath for private use.

There is an open-air bath with hot water, so you can enjoy it just like you would at a hotel! It's great to be able to communicate with the owner, which is unique to a pension!

It's been 35 years since I started using it.This is a pension where you can relax and enjoy delicious Chinese food no matter when you visit.Whether it's couples, parents and children, or friends, they always remember the details no matter what the situation, and it's a pleasure to talk to them. The dishes prepared by the owner, who has extensive training in Chinese cuisine, are exquisite. What's more, once I told them I was allergic to bamboo shoots, they responded with other ingredients. The porridge for breakfast is very flavorful, so please try it.This time it was raining and cloudy, but the cherry blossoms near Izukogen Station were in full bloom. If you contact us in advance, the owner will come to pick you up at the station by car.

I heard that it was a pension where you could eat Chinese food, so I decided to stay there.Room: 5 pointsThe bed is comfortable. A lavender potpourri is placed by the bedside, giving me an unpleasant feeling. Wifi is also good! There was also a refrigerator, so I was able to spend my time without any inconvenience. There is a toilet, but the room I went into didn't have a washlet. However, there is a toilet with a washlet inside the pension, so there is no problem.Cleanliness: 5 pointsI was glad that the accommodation was kept well-maintained throughout.Bath: 5 pointsA private open-air bath and hot springs! The hot water was just right. The bathtub is not very big, so only two people can fit in it. Personally, I would like to go in alone and feel comfortable. Also, the shampoo and body soap provided have a great scent and are of good quality! One thing to note is that since it was summer, I was burning mosquito repellent incense, but the smell of smoke was quite strong. It may be a bad idea for some people, but I enjoy the smoke from mosquito coils as a form of emotion, so it's not a problem for me.Cooking (dinner): 6 pointsIt was so great that I gave it a rating of over 5 points. Starting with the specially ordered platter, we had vinegared shrimp, meat buns, stir-fried squid, scallops, and green beans, steamed red sea bream in oyster sauce, Izu beef belly stew, chestnut rice, wonton soup, and almond tofu, all of which were excellent. Very satisfied! In particular, the golden sea bream steamed in oyster sauce was so delicious that it was shocking to me, as I had only eaten it boiled, so I wanted other inns to adopt this cooking method. What's more, I was also happy to have unlimited refills of the chestnut rice♪Cooking (breakfast): 5 pointsIt seems that you can choose between Western food and Chinese breakfast, but I chose Chinese without hesitation. As a result, it was a big hit! The Chinese porridge that was served as a staple food was delicious and didn't put a burden on my stomach, giving me just the right amount of satisfaction. It was unusual for spring rolls to be served with ketchup. The yogurt topped with fresh blueberries after the meal was also of good quality. In addition to the juice to wake you up, you can also get an after-meal drink (in this case, milk), which is a good thing.Customer service/service: 5 pointsThere is a yukata in the room, but I was personally happy that they took the trouble to prepare a yukata in a larger size considering my heavy physique. I guess this is what casual hospitality is all about.Overall, it was a great accommodation with good balance and great hospitality!

This is one of the most satisfying pensions I've ever stayed at.Every single item of Chinese food for dinner was delicious, and even the sashimi, which I wasn't expecting since it's a Chinese restaurant, was delicious. The morning porridge for breakfast was so nutritious and gentle that I would want to stay again just to have it.The inside of the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the hospitality of the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The hot springs at the stalls have both a cascading bath and a lying bath, so I soaked in them many times because they felt so good.
