Although the building is old, it is kept clean and there are no problems. There are many types of buffet and the taste is delicious. The pancake making machine in the morning was interesting! I get the impression that the staff are constantly caring for the guests, such as going around the tables and offering to take photos. The impression of the staff is high, not just at the restaurant, but everywhere. The hotel's rooms, meals, hot water, and staff are well above average, allowing you to relax and feel at ease without having to worry about yourself. The temperature of the hot springs is just right, and the view of the sunrise in the morning from the oceanfront room is spectacular.A mysterious place that makes you want to go again soon!

Pilgrimage trip to sacred placesDo you remember the drama about 10 years ago that was written by Baka Rhythm and aired on Fuji TV called ``Nicely Selected Taxi''?Due to its popularity, a special program was made after the drama ended. The hotel called Mizuyotei was the filming location for the special program.Actually, this hotel went out of business in 2016, and I was very disappointed. However, a few years ago, the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group acquired this hotel and reopened it.There is a hot spring source called ``Hashiri-yu'' right near the hotel. It was discovered in the 7th century by En no Gyoja Ozunu, and it is said that Yoritomo also took a bath (steam bath at the time) with Masako. It is also located on the approximately 2,000-step approach to Izusan Shrine, and it is said that Yoritomo visited this shrine when he raised an army. The hot springs at Suiyotei draw directly from the source of this hot spring, and are said to be said to be the hot springs of success, compared to Yoritomo's restoration of the Genji clan.Although the building is very old, it has a deep connection with Yoritomo and has a spectacular ocean view, making it a truly wasteful property to let it go bankrupt. I think Oedo Onsen Monogatari did a very good job.

Overall cost performance is good. The view, food, and baths are especially good.I also appreciate the shuttle bus between Atami Station and the hotel. The only regret was that I couldn't go out to the balcony of my room.

It's a common buffet menu, but each flavor was delicious. I guess the chef is good! From the room, the sea spread out in front of us and the morning sun was beautiful.

The guides are very pushy and obnoxious, obstructing traffic. Even if there was a big accident in front of the hotel, it would be worse if they wanted to cause it or if they got involved.
