A family of four, including a couple and two elementary school students, stayed here for two consecutive nights during the July holidays.First of all, the most noteworthy thing is the large garden of about 2000m2 including the BBQ facility. The kids could run around as much as they wanted, and since the chickens were free-range, they seemed to have fun chasing them around. You can also catch it and hold it. I also have goats, so I was able to feed them. If you go down the stairs in the garden, there is a stream, and you can hear the sound of the stream even from the inn.For the BBQ, we used a facility located on a separate hill. There's a roof, so you won't have to worry about light rain, and there's also a refrigerator, so you can store food and drinks here after you arrive, so you don't have to carry them all the way from the main building. Of course, we have everything else you need. The biggest fun for children is fireworks. There are other inns where you can use hand-held fireworks, but an inn that allows you to use fireworks is really valuable. I was very pleased. The main building where we stayed is a traditional Japanese house. There is no kitchen, but there is a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, electric kettle, tableware, etc., and if you need to cook, you can do it in the separate lodge. There were insects in the living room from time to time. It's a shame that the bath is old and doesn't have a shower, but people who don't like this area probably wouldn't choose an old private house in the first place, and Akiyama Onsen is about 3 minutes away by car, so it's a problem. I do not think. We went to the hot springs both days, so we didn't use the bath at the hotel. The two bedrooms have air conditioning and heating, so it's okay even in the summer, and there were no insects.I didn't use the lodge, but it was very stylish with barrels and firewood embedded in the walls, and there was a karaoke facility (for a fee), as well as a fully equipped kitchen and toilet, so I thought it would be fun to go there with friends. Please note that there are no supermarkets nearby. You cannot get food or drinks unless you go near Uenohara Interchange or Tsuru City Mibu Station. There are four refrigerators, so we recommend buying enough for what you need, even if you don't mind having a little extra.Lastly, the host and landlady who manage the inn were wonderful. I could feel that both of them wanted the guests to have a good time, and they took great care in arranging various arrangements, but they also kept a proper distance from each other, making our stay very comfortable. On the way home, I liked the inn so much that my family and I talked about wanting to stay there again, and even considered when to stay.
