As soon as I entered the house, I felt like my trip to Japan was complete! If you want to experience Japan's authentic traditional accommodation in depth, it is highly recommended to stay here for a few days. From the moment you enter the door, you will know from the owner's greeting that "this is what I want." Every small corner of the house is full of the owner's life. , rather than accommodation for business purposes. Although the house shows signs of use and age, the owner takes great care of it and keeps it very clean! The location is very convenient, just next to Takadanobaba on the JY and M lines. There are also several drugstores, convenience stores and various restaurants nearby, so you don't have to worry about coming home late and feeling hungry.I stayed here for five nights with my boyfriend and agreed that this was the most profound experience of our three-week trip to Japan😊

Be careful when you make reservation here! I made reservation via Booking. This place wanted payment from me 2.5 months before my arrival and the only one way to pay for them was PayPal. I had just some questions - I wrote them that I dont have PayPal but I can sign up, I ask if they return me money if I cancel this reservation before arrival (my reservation was refundable till 24th of July 2024) They totally ignored me and didn't write anymore because I have some doubts. I wanted to pay but I wanted also be sure that everything will be ok. They immediately cancelled my reservation ;) I am so happy that I didn't make them transfer - I wrote them that I will make but stil had no answering for them. I attach screens.

Booked a room here with my partner for 3 nights. Two weeks before our scheduled arrival they sent a request to do the prepayment so they could get "some interest" from our money. However, be warned they will only take prepayment via PayPal, which will cost an additional 5% in fees. Which for a three night stay is not insignificant, and certainly more than the interest they would make. When we asked to come to some other arrangement (pay directly to bank or any other suggestions they might have) they just ignored us and cancelled the booking. So we have now had to make last minute alterations to our plans. Unimpressed.

Always check out bad reviews when booking. Take note how they argue with EVERY bad review and how demeaning the replies are. I wrote it off thinking that maybe it might've been the guest. I was wrong. This property also cancelled my stay few days before I was set to arrive saying I didn't pay the prepayment when they had confirmed they had received it months prior. (Got my prepayment back only after going through the booking platform)They also had information about me and my job that I did not provide (assuming they searched it on the internet). Which is a very creepy thing to find out as a female solo traveler.

Great location to reside in. The host was amazing, it was a lovely experience. A strong traditional sense in staying here. Almost made me want to stay longer but my trip had to end. Would definitely recommend it! It’s also the center around everything, so traveling and commuting around was super convenient.
