There's no reception, we waited outside for a long time. But the rooms will give you a traditional tatami floor to sleep in. I was surprised that it was comfy an I slept well!! It a good 15 min walk to nijo station which made it convenient.

The impressions are very different. On the one hand, it’s quiet and cozy, BUT: there was someone else’s hair in the towel and robe!!!! You can leave your luggage. Plus: there's a fantastic sushi restaurant nearby!

a nice place)The room is spacious with tatami mats. Bright and abundant lighting. You can hang a lot of clothes on it. (by the wall)The building is new. There is a large refrigerator.free coffeeAreas of concern)I have to cook at home or eat out, but I only have a bread toaster, so I can only toast bread. The desk is small. The first floor is a dirt floor with tatami mats, so it's really cold. The unit bath is small and doesn't feel like you can relax slowly, so we recommend taking a bath at the nearby Imamatsu Onsen. It's warm. But I might not be able to go on anymore.

The traditional beds were unexpectedly comfortable and easy to set up. We were able to sleep very well. One point deducted for hygiene (there was hair from other guests in some places) and security (the room code should be changed after each guest. We were able to use our code to go into the room of the previous guests, which was still dirty. This means that theoretically they too could enter our room during our stay TOP for the room price!

The room tatami floor was extremely poor hygiene as it cause my both leg to have MAJOR rashes and my friends have scalp and hair itchiness. The wifi was extremely weak too and they cant do anything to help. My worst stay in Japan. For the same room price I can get a much even better stay. Highly not recommend even if you would like to experience a tatami and Futon bed.

Very small rooms, tiny toilet, no closets. In fact, only a bed and a toilet. No drinking water was found. But you can feel the flavor of Japan - you sleep on the floor and eat on the floor. Convenient - 500m from the station, plus shops and good sushi nearby.
