Already wanting to go back and stay again. Absolutely beautiful traditional Japanese house with modern creature comforts to make your stay amazing. The decor is an interior design lovers dream, mixing pottery from the local area with western comforts. Great value for money, excellent location in town, and amazing staff who were very kind and courteous. I’m looking forward to staying again very soon!

An old kimono shop has been renovated into a cafe and guest house.The space that used to be a kimono shop has been turned into a cafe.The living area in the back has been converted into a guest house.Further, the storehouse in the back is used as a bathroom.This is the perfect place for those who want to experience the atmosphere of an old folk house!However, we have all the necessary home appliances and other items, so it doesn't feel like an inconvenience. However, since the building is still the same as before, people with walking disabilities may have trouble climbing the steps.Best of all is the hospitality of the staff.I was healed.Thank you for the wonderful time!

2023.12.04I really like the old houses here, we visited one after another!Oito itself is a B&B and a cafe. It also provides regular meals at noon.Renovated from a 200-year-old old house, the cafe is so beautiful insideThere is also a garden in the middle, which is great to enjoy while drinking coffee!This store is located in the famous old street of Kawaramachi. It is highly recommended to visit here~

We stayed at a affiliated facility and had breakfast at OITO.The plan included sweet potato soup, toast (3 types to choose from), and a drink.The toast is crispy and the butter spreads in your mouth. It was really delicious. I would love to come back again just for this toast.If you are going, please try it.Personally, I recommend cinnamon sugar!

Lovely, cozy place in a historical street in a renovated historical house. Stayed in the attic room, which was very atmospheric.Breakfast was delicious, especially almond butter bread.Staff was very welcoming and friendly. A most pleasant stay in all ways, highly recommended!

I leave behind unforgettable good memories.The female staff member who responded spoke good English and was very friendly!😉The atmosphere of the cafe and accommodation was also very nice.Two people went, but I wanted to use the hinoki bath, so I changed my room reservation from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor.It was a very satisfactory accommodation, and I definitely want to come back again with my family in the future.The toast served for breakfast is so delicious♥️Be sure to go. It's a pity to stay for 1 night. Please go for 2 nights or more.(It was better because there were only locals and no foreigners)
