If you drive about 1 km along Route 135 from the Atami direction past Granpal Park, you will see the inn name flag and a small signboard. At first, if you follow the directions on your car's navigation system, it will lead you to the back, so if you just follow Route 135, you won't get lost.It didn't bother us that other reviews said it was rather poor. (Insects, aging, etc.)For a room with a view of the mountains and the sea, the open-air bath and terrace were very spacious, and the open feel of the terrace was very satisfying. I did.The food was delicious and the quantity was just right, and the staff seemed to be all working hard.Since it is designed with an emphasis on privacy, the most valuable thing for us is being able to take our dog with us and relax in our favorite hot springs for as long as we like without having to worry about anything, so the price is especially high. I didn't feel it.The only disappointing thing was that the mattress on the tatami bed was narrow and didn't have much cushioning, so I didn't feel comfortable sleeping.I was very disappointed because I was satisfied with everything else. If the mattress was at least the same width as the tatami bed and a little thicker, I would have given it 5 stars. Are the beds different for each room? The open-air baths seem to be different in each room, so next time I'll try staying in a different room.

I had read all of the harsh comments from other people before visiting, so I wasn't really surprised, and on the contrary, I was able to spend my time thinking, ``Ah, it's just as the reviews said.'' I enjoyed my stay from beginning to end.Above all, if the dog is happy, that's fine.I think your motivation for staying at an inn will be completely different if you go there knowing what the reviews are and if you go without knowing it.I realized once again how important reviews are.Good points: The room was on the highest hill, so the view was great. The rooms are spacious so the dog can run around without getting bored, and each building is separated from its neighbors so you won't have to worry about your dog barking unnecessarily. The open-air bath in each room is open 24 hours a day and is spacious, so you can relax on the balcony with a drink and spend time with your dog.The Japanese breakfast was delicious. It was easy to get to because it was right off the national highway on a side street. What might not be good: The open-air bath is large, so even if you set it to the maximum temperature of 42℃, it gets cold, so you can't take a piping hot bath, so after taking the open-air bath, you can take another cypress bath. I had to go back in hot.The French dinner was served with bread🥐 and each course menu was served in order, so it seemed difficult to carry it.I decided to stop grouping the French dishes together and serve the same menu items together, instead of bread and rice. I thought you would be happier. The sliding door between the bathroom and changing area wouldn't close, so I had to be careful not to splash hot water into the changing area when using the shower.Hinoki baths leak hot water, so if you leave the water on and don't take a bath, the water will run out. There are bugs in the room, and I don't have any problems with them, but there are quite a few people who write about them in their reviews. Many reviews say that the stairs to the room are tough, but I thought it was a good workout, and I enjoyed it, and the room on the highest floor was more than welcome.I would like the dock run to be made of grass if possible. After running around in the dirt, your feet will be covered in mud.Accommodation costs are quite reasonable considering it's high season, totaling around ¥60,000 for two people (accommodation cost details posted photo ➕ 2 dogs paid locally and 2 additional golden sea bream)

The French food served in the room had a homey, simple taste and was very delicious! The room does feel old, but it feels like they've made good use of it, so I feel calm, and the view from the room and bath is pleasant, so I had a very pleasant time...♪Above all, I was happy with the warm and warm response from the staff. My dog is very fond of people, and he seemed to be having a lot of fun every time someone brought him food for the room (lol). This is an inn that will make you want to visit again!

I stayed for one night with a friend and my dog. I was very satisfied with the room, open-air bath, location, and view. However, I was shocked at the low quality of the food. I didn't have any particular expectations, but it wasn't a cheap hotel, so I wasn't worried. However, the result seems to be in the top three of all the accommodations I have stayed at so far. Also, the staff could not explain the drinks, and they would try to place the food plates from the edge of the table instead of getting close to us, so we had to take the plates each time.I had Japanese food for breakfast, but there were a lot of items, such as mentaiko from a tube and natto straight from the package. There was something I didn't know what it was, so I asked, "What is this? Is it a sauce to put on something?" The staff member didn't know either, so he went to ask and said, "It's macaroni salad." Both the rice and the way it was cooked was terrible. When I finished eating and left the private room, I said, ``Thank you for the meal,'' but no one was there.Even though the room, open-air bath, and view are nice, I can't recommend it to anyone. We need to improve our food and educate our employees.

I was really disappointed that the photo and the real thing were so different.◎When you enter the entrance, the lobby is disgusting. The spider webs and everything felt old ⤵︎◎The front desk staff will not personally greet you.◎The path to the room has a wonderful atmosphere ^_^Now let's move on to the fun room.◎The entrance is wonderful.◎The room is 😅old. Wow, that's not nice.◎Bathroom is old and dirty. The amenities are like those of a love hotel.I don't have a comb. After taking a bath, I went to the front desk to pick it up myself.◎Hinoki bath has a nice scent. It was very nice, but the cypress had turned black.◎Shower! Hole in the hose part! Water came out from there and I didn't like it.◎Glass & mirrors - Full of oil film, you can't see the scenery or faceCleansers are products that are combined with facial cleansers.◎The open-air bath felt good ^_^ However, it is a little strange that you cannot adjust the temperature yourself.◎A clear board has been pasted on the scenery to prevent dogs from falling on it, but it's dirty with limescale and water droplets, so you can't see the scenery while taking a bath.◎The toilet floor is tiled. It felt cold, like a hospital. There is no sense of luxury.◎Is it because the deck is old? At first I felt scared. I was worried that the floor would fall.◎Dinner was a course meal, but maybe my tongue is bad? It wasn't nearly as tasty.I enjoyed breakfast with many side dishes.thoughts. . .I think keeping it clean is expensive and difficult. But it was so expensive and at this level⤵︎I was really sad. It was a shame. The location is great, so I would like to see it properly maintained, cleaned, and made into a better hotel.for rheumatismI stay at an inn with an open-air bath in the room six times a year.It was one of the three inns from the bottom. It was really disappointing. But I think I'll try it again. I'm looking forward to it.

I was a little worried because of the bad reviews, but I had no problems at all. In fact, it was one of the best Caros I've ever stayed at. If I had to say, the signboard at the entrance from the road is small, so if you're not careful, you'll miss it.You can use the open-air bath in the guest room 24 hours a day, and the food was delicious as expected from Caro.Since it's in the mountains, there are some bugs in the room. Those who are not good at it should be careful.

This is a Carlo Foresta affiliated inn. When I stay at multiple hotels in the same chain, I always feel that the facilities and scenery are not well taken care of, and the food is poor.Since it has such a nice front, I think it would be a good idea to put a little more effort into cleaning fallen leaves and twigs, checking lighting, storing cleaning equipment properly, and repairing damaged dog run fences.Izu Kogen is a great place for dog owners, with plenty of dog-friendly hotels and restaurants, hot springs, and easy access.Tamakyo's room was spacious and had a luxurious hot spring bath, and the restaurant had private rooms so both the shy dog and his owner could eat without worrying too much, and the view was amazing. Overall, it feels old in some places, but it can also be seen as a taste.I think it would be a great hotel where dogs and people alike could feel comfortable and relaxed if they could put a little more effort into the cooking, paying attention to local ingredients, seasonal flavors, and volume, and serving even simple desserts by hand.

I had a good impression of the staff and was satisfied with the fact that they were dog friendly. Also, the view from your room and the open-air bath while looking at it are the best. However, for me, the food was not good enough for the price, and I got the impression that the maintenance of the rooms was not up to date.
