Within a few minutes on foot from JR station, the position is good for anyone who wants to visit Nikko. The rooms are clean and tidy and Mariko and her husband are simply amazing. Their sense of hospitality and caring for their hosts is really unbelievable, we had an amazing time and we are so glad that we chose this place for our vacation! I totally recommend it!

Highly recommended! Mariko, the owner is a super friendly woman who has treated us great at all times. He prepared breakfast for us at the time that best suited us each morning and even offered to take us to the station with his car after checking out.

Stay one night on 2024/10/1-2From Taiwan to Japan, head straight to NikkoAfter many twists and turns, we arrived at Tobu Nikko Station at 20:19 in the evening.When we arrived, the landlady said that she had asked us twice during the booking process.I'm so sorry to make the boss lady worry!Then the boss lady asked us to fill in the information first.After exchanging greetings, he told us that although we had booked a room without breakfast,But she will prepare breakfast for usSo heartwarming~~However, the boss seemed to be smoking in the next room during the process.The whole house smells of smokeIt’s really depressing for people who are extremely intolerant of second-hand smoke.Then the landlady introduced us to the environment.There is a shared restaurant with electric water heaters and microwaves.One shared bathroom and two toilets (one upstairs and one downstairs)The room has two closetsCan open two large suitcasesIt’s a Japanese style roomAlthough it is older, the space is well maintained.The toilets and sinks are very cleanThe view out in the morning is also very good.The next morning it was amazingThe landlady and the boss cook breakfast togetherThere are salads, 8 kinds of fruits, eggs, grilled chicken skewers (if you eat meat), toast, coffee or teaThere's even purple sweet potatoThank you so much to the lady boss and the boss for their hard work!A very warm experience!There is a 7-11 and a pharmacy nearby within a 3-minute walk (closes at 21:00)Although it's quite dark nearby, it's also very quiet.But it’s quite convenient!

Its near the JR Nikko Station with 711 nearby. The shared area was clean and tidy. Mariko san is an amazing host, shared with us places of attractions to visit and even prepared breakfast which was not included in our room rates for us. Her handmade gifts and hospitality made us feel warm and fuzzy. Definitely recommended!

Staying with Mariko and Yoshi was our best accommodation in Japan. They greeted us in their home, asked us about our plans and gave us information how to make them happen. Mariko was so thoughtful and welcoming, she truly too much for us! Breakfast -although we hadn't booked it- and lifts with her car, which was a great help for us traveling with a baby. Thank you so much for everything, Mariko & Yoshi! We will remember you with the best of memories ❤️

What a treat to stay at Mariko's establishment!The service at this hotel was perfect. She helped us with visiting the local highlights and even volunteered to drive us to the station.A clean, traditional and - most importantly- welcoming room.

A super nice guest house in traditional Japanese style. The owner is super nice, I have rarely met such a loving person.The house is close to the train station and shops are not far away.The owner makes a stunning breakfast every morning and gives good tips on what to see.You can simply feel good here!Recommended to everyone.

We stayed one night only but it has been the best stay so far in Japan. The accommodation is a very typical Japanese house. It is extremely clean and organised. Our host was the most friendly person we have met here so far. She speaks some English, and what she does not know will translate live with a translator. At the end we even got some gifts from her 😅. I will come back!

The place is really close to the train station, there are stores and supermarkets just a few minutes walking. The room is all you need and very clean. The toilet and shower are shared also very clean and tidy. The owner makes you feel at home. She is super kind and you will feel all the love she puts on taking care of her guests. I was having that amazing feeling of being home.
