It is very convenient as it is right in front of the Shinkansen station.Although the large public bath is compact, there is also a sauna and an open-air bath, so you can soothe your daily fatigue.Breakfast is served at the attached restaurant, but it is quite small and can get very crowded depending on the timing. Please be careful! The food is absolutely delicious 😋

A smart hotel with good value for money.I thought it was probably aimed at personal travelers and business travelers rather than families. In any case, at a normal hotel, you can stay in a compact twin room for the price of one person, and it has all the amenities you need. Also, unfortunately there is no sauna, but there is a large public bath where you can heal the fatigue of your trip. To be honest, the public bath for women is a bit small, but I felt that there were not many female customers in the first place. Also, although this has nothing to do with the hotel, Joetsu-Myoko Station is still developing and there are few restaurants at both the east and west exits where the hotel is located, and the popular ekiben at the station are almost sold out in the evening, so make sure to plan your dinner in advance. We recommend that you purchase it.The breakfast at the hotel was not a buffet, but a few small plates for each person, and you had to serve your own rice and soup, but they were all delicious.

The first impression was actually very good. Apparently I had booked the wrong room (smoking instead of non-smoking), but luckily I was able to change it and my suitcase was kept for a few hours before check-in.After a while the room smelled of smoke and the smell became stronger and stronger. I wasn't sure if anything was on fire, so I went to the front desk. Unfortunately, this time they didn't understand me and even using a translation device didn't seem to help. Unfortunately, the staff didn't really talk to me, so I didn't know if they just didn't understand me or couldn't help me. The two of them kept working on the computer at reception and I didn't know why because they didn't talk to me. Then the young man came out from behind the reception and just asked me if I wanted a new room. I said no, I wanted a solution to the smell and to know whether there was a light burning somewhere or whether there was a strong smell of smoke everywhere (then changing rooms wouldn't have helped). Unfortunately he didn't understand me again and after a while I gave up and went back into the room. I couldn't sleep properly the first night because I was afraid that there would be a fire somewhere or a cable would burn or something similar. After a while I got a bad headache and I thought about changing hotels because the smell didn't go away at first.I then opened the window and ventilated it for a long time. Then the smell slowly disappeared. The next day the staff came to me and checked the smell in my room.Thank you for addressing the problem and offering a good solution. Sorry for the first knee-jerk reaction to the lack of sleep.
